The property is a motel stay, rusted out fixtures in the bathroom, linens could be replaced as dingy white. Appears to have been purchased by Wyndham without investment. Walkability to downtown.

Great service

We had good hot water and great water pressure. The fridge made a strange noise but stayed cold. One bed was so soft it would almost eat you alive, while the bed in the side room was nice and firm. We booked a suite, but it didn't really match the pictures online and was missing things shown in the photos, including the nightstands. Unfortunately, our trip didn't get off to a great start. The front desk employee wasn't very friendly or helpful. We really needed to use the restroom, change, and freshen up, but had to wait while he finished an inventory task. After waiting, instead of letting us know it was our turn, he started checking in people who arrived after us. The "breakfast" was honestly a joke and not worth showing up for. On the positive side, the location was great and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The patio was nice for waiting on an Uber, and I appreciated the gated property at night, though clearer instructions for getting back through the gate would help. Overall, a decent older hotel with good housekeeping and a convenient location, but the front desk experience, breakfast, and misleading room photos need improvement.

When I first entered my room it had a very heavy bleach smell. On the bright side, that indicates they care about cleanliness. Suggestion for staff - after cleaning, open some windows to air it out. It's a few blocks to Palace Kitchen (on of my favorites) and the Cinerama theater. 10 minute walk to Pike Place. Overall good value.

I would pick another property to stay at. The hotel is old, dirty and does not match the pictures that are posted.

Very good location for exploring Seattle!

The free parking and location were wonderful. Condition of the property not so much.

The elevator was broken so had to go up 4 flights of stairs. Not the end of the world. The property was clean, but coukd use some updating.

What a disappointment. The pictures showed on the website are misleading. A very outdated and poorly maintained motel. Everything looks like it hasn’t been updated in 50 years. From the electric to the plumbing to the paint and flooring. Just poorly maintained. Not worth what they charge.

When we arrived they said they were overbooked, but did eventually make room for us. Such a tiny room, very old and run down. Was horribly noisy all night!! Took my credit card info for a $50 refundable deposit for incidentals, we did not get our deposit returned and there were absolutely no incidents. Now we are getting the runaround trying to get our deposit returned.

The location While it appears that the property has been somewhat renovated, it is still lacking in some amenities. There was no electric outlet in the bathroom. The few electric outlets that were present, were in difficult to access locations. There was no place to hang a hand towel near the bathroom sink and no soap to use at the sink. It would be nice to have lights over or near the bedside.

On a positive note, When i arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful. But the truth is, I was not happy. i wanted to cancel my stay because i felt like I had been duped by the photo on the website. The Dylan is a run down motel, the photo makes it look like it had a tower from the buildings on the street behind it. There was no elevator and I had a lot of luggage - the front desk worked quickly to get me a room on the first floor… but that made me feel like i was staying in the parking lot. The fact that they close and lock the gate at 10pm to keep you safe didn’t exactly comfort me. This might work for others, but I’ll look elsewhere next time.

At first sight, we were concerned because it was a motel but our room had been recently updated clean, and the staff was friendly. Also great walkable location.

Fantastic location in downtown Seattle without the ridiculous prices. And free parking, which is unheard of. The staff helped me find a space to accommodate my full sized pickup. There was an issue with my TV but the night staff was helpful and made it right.

The property was very clean for the area it’s located in. I felt safe with the gates being locked at night so I could access the vending machine for drinks without having to walk to a store.all around great place for a day-ish layover to explore and enjoy the city!

Clean room with some recent updates. Air conditioning worked well. Cable was out, but may be an ongoing issue. Parking was great to have. Nice little light breakfast option in the morning (and donut shop next door!) Fabulous location and overall great value. We’d stay there again.
