Very clean hotel. Breakfast was good but pricey. Good security at the hotel. Area surrounding it was a little sketchy.

Would stay again. Great location!

Great location, friendly staff, nice experience
-
The scenic view from the room was horrible and the friendliness of the reception desk could have been better. I was given the key to a room that was already occupied,

Great location and lovely room. On our second night we came back to a room that had not been cleaned. It was explained to us that rooms were only cleaned every other night. Unusual and disappointing for a hotel of this standard, however, the staff were understanding and made up for it during breakfast.

Exceptional

Staff were really friendly - welcoming and very helpful with some local tips for food and drink. Not the property’s fault but the location is a tricky one. Really well located but a lot of open air drug use in the surrounding area which could be a bit intimidating for young families.

The hotel was close to everything we wanted to see: Chihuly, Pikes Market, Space Needle. It was clean, very attractive decor and helpful staff.
-
Great central location, comfortable quiet rooms with attentive and helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

We got there super early (7:20am!) and the concierge on duty was kind enough to allow us an early check-in, which we appreciate immensely. Our room was fine - a little on the dark side, shower pressure was so-so, otherwise our one night stay was comfortable. This hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants & the Pike Public Market. However there are unfortunately too many homeless in the area, so I might not book it for my next visit to Seattle .

The Sound Hotel is themed around music and there are lots of old LP's used in the artwork. It's in a great location within easy walking distance of many attractions (Westlake monorail, Amazon spheres, for example). The room was clean, large, well illuminated and featured a desk with chair, additional chair, fridge, closet, Keurig coffee maker, iron & ironing board and a safe. The staff were super helpful and constantly in touch. Whatever we needed (extra towels, extra Keurig tea pods, and an additional luggage rack) they brought up. We were able to secure a late check-out, which was very nice. We used the valet parking which worked out well (just call ahead to have them retrieve your car before heading downstairs). We didn't use the restaurant, but ate at nearby locations. The bathroom was spacious and included a walk in shower with rain showerhead and a standard showerhead. Even at hot levels the room managed to never steam up and the mirrors never fogged. We enjoyed our three night visit and would definitely come back again. Our favorite restaurant was a 15-minute drive away: The Harvest Vine. They serve Basque tapas that is really delicious. It's tiny so make reservations! Our room was on the back over the garbage pick-up area, so there was a little bit of noise in the mornings. It wasn't a big deal for us city dwellers, but others may be annoyed.

Staff including housekeeping were very professional.
-
Front desk and the bellman were very helpful and held our bags until our checkin and also when we checked out so we could walk around Seattle!
-
The Sound was a pleasant surprise. Lovely boutique hotel. There were some colourful characters outside the hotel however.
-
Comfort and luxury...it was perfect.
-
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The onsite restaurant is excellent.
-
Excellent place to stay! Love the area and close to the market!

The hotel is new and rooms are spacious. The front desk staff and especially the manager were not helpful nor professional. When we checked in we asked for the room to be clean like any full service hotel--this was forgotten and we had to remind the staff twice. The manager is not welcoming or hospitable does not openly greet the customers or engage in any way that is professional.
