La Quinta Suites by Wyndham South Bend Notre Dame Area

Good stay. Room was nice. Breakfast was adequate. Location was good.

Receptionist was unavailable at check in - i was the only one there but had to wait 10 minutes for him to appear. Wifi in room was difficult to access, I had to be given an access code. Showr floor was discolored with water stains. Minimal Breakfast options.

It looked like a fairly new property, unfortunately it seems like they’re not maintaining to keep that fresh and new look, and that was the good part. The customer service was appallingly bad. Check in time was supposed to be 3:00pm, we arrived at 5:00pm yet are room still wasn’t ready, the front desk clerk kept telling us how they’re housekeeping is short staffed. (Not our problem) He told us that it would be ready by 5:30, that’s two and half hours after their 3:00pm check in time. He offered no apologies, he offered no complimentary coffee, tea, water etc. while we waited. If we arrived at 3:00 and they said they needed another half hour that’s not great but it’s not terrible either. We asked if there was any sort of credit back that could be issued for the inconvenience, he bluntly said “no” and still offered no apology. We were exhausted when we arrived, we’d been on the road all day and simply wanted what we paid for. It was a one way transaction, they took our money and gave us absolutely no value for our hard earned travel dollars that we spent at this property. We booked here because it was rated extremely high with pretty good reviews. I rate it bottom of the barrel, don’t waste your time or your money with this place!

Not particularly clean, towels were frayed and seen better days, carpet could use vacuuming, mold on corners of bathroom . Our tv didn’t work and even when called no one came to fix it

Lovely clean hotel was very well appointed rooms. They’re huge readily off the highway 3 miles from Notre Dame. Lots of dining options in the area both fast food and good cuisine.

Clean, nice rooms. Ample parking and good breakfast!

Muy limpio me encantó

It was clean and affordable with a modern design. The breakfast food was ok but as I was walking out of the breakfast nook toward the sitting area, I saw a cockroach in the middle of the floor...it wasn't moving fast so may have been poisoned. I am glad I saw this after we were done eating and heading out the door. Other than that it was fine for the price.

This is an Honest Review of the property. It is awesome. Clean and really upscale. If you are worried, do not be. I am doing this for the concerned shopper. This is a place you will be happy to stay at. I wish they had more towels and toiletries refreshed daily, but unless you are really "wasteful???" about things, you will not have a problem. This is a great stay. PERIOD.

Parking was easy. The breakfast was subpar. The eggs just didn't taste very good.

It was a nice hotel, but it was surprising/disappointing that when we asked for dinner recommendations, the woman at the check in desk didn't know what was around. But other than that, it was centrally located and nice.
