This hotel was cute! It could use some basic updating in the rooms, extra pillows and better lighting. Upgrades to the bedsheets and such. But the pool and hot tub area was excellent our kids loved it. The breakfast set up was fine, it was individually packed muffins, donuts, granola bars, juices, etc which worked for us needing to eat and run. Its a privately owned hotel and while it could use some upgrades it worked great for us.

I was working over in Richmond on a project. This was just a place to sleep. The hotel is obviously old and could use some refreshing but other than that it was fine. It gets noisy at night however, as it would appear maybe some parties of people are all pitching in on a room to have a get together, or get let in the back door. And then there was the night during the week that there was a car parked in the back corner of the parking lot, and two guys standing outside their car sharing a cigarette? Let's go with that. I'd say from a guy's point of view, this place provides a place to sleep and shower and go on about your day. If you've got the Mrs. with you and some kids in tow, you won't be staying here.

AC was super cold. Room was average, could smell stale smoke in the rug. But did the trick for a quick overnight

Place needs a lot of updates

The continental breakfast was rice crispy bars and plastic wrapped donuts. Although there were some granola bars and coffee. Basically I would never choose to stay here again and would definitely not recommend.

Convenient location. Friendly staff Dated needs a face lift

If you are looking for a great location- this is it The place is very old- seems like it was not renovated since it was built, probably in the 70-ies. Has a heavy smell of old cigarette smoke, probably from the times when smoking in the rooms was allowed. The bathrooms was terrible, with cracked tiles, rusted hinges and racks, the bottom of the bathtub was black color. The bedlinens seemed to be clean, but the duvet seemed like it was not washed in a long time. Had fresh chocolate stains from the previous visitor! You have to ask for towels.

I flew in late, needed a place to stay, was out in the morning. Super quick, but it was comfy and had what I needed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Would come back.

We stayed for 3 nights and this was our first trip to Vermont. The location was very good and there was plenty of parking space. We expected some warm continental breakfast but only donuts and coffee&teas. The room was enough space and easy to access but little old and it was little bit smelly. We enjoyed warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Anyway we enjoyed our staying in Burlington and want to come back again in autumn or in winter again. But I may stay in other hotels next time even pay little more. The staffs were very kind and nice. Thank you.

Location was good Had to change rooms. 1st room the cold water would not shut off. 2nd room, bathroom floor tiles were broken and loose and tub looked terrible due to poor caulking job that was done

Location great for early flight the next morning The facilities are rough - peeling paint, stained walls and furniture, windows that won’t close. Very very run down and needs a major update.

Ultimately, a decent stay. But honestly, you get what you pay for here. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The pool area was nice and clean and warm! The continental breakfast could be more than a couple of packaged muffins and granola bars, and maybe some options in the tea area, but otherwise, okay. It's definitely outdated, but is a solid hotel. It could use new carpeting and bathroom amenities... i'm pretty sure what's here has been here since the place was built, but everything is perfectly functional. I would recommend this for younger, less discerning travelers that just need the room to throw their stuff in while they go out to ski or mountain bike or take advantage of the many outdoor activities that burlington offers! Conveniently located to just about everything! Parking was never an issue, & the hot tub was probably our favorite amenity here. Plus there's a resident PUG that supervises the hotel staff, who is absolutely adorable and worth the trip alone!

I understand what to expect when I book the cheapest hotel in the area, even more so when it’s $150 per night less than the next hotel. But dirty bedding, holes in the walls, rooms that smell of smoke in non-smoking. I get it, this hotel is most likely under new ownership, and they are working to update and improve the rooms slowly. But clean bedding, is simple, filling the holes in bathroom, bedroom and entrance walls takes minutes. This is a budget stay at best, limit your expectations and it will be okay. Just wish I had more info when I booked.

This was a quick one night stay. The rooms were decent, but dated. No elevator, so luggage has to be brought up and down. Breakfast was simple as just grab and go, which was actually perfect for our timeline.

A great place to stay if you visiting for a few days. Has Hot Tub and swimming pool as well.

First room we checked into had the bathroom door hanging off the hinge. The second room has whiskers in the sink and no towels. The hotel is a terrible value for the almost $200 nightly fee! The manager did give me a discounted rate which I was thankful for.

Good price, clean, staff was ever attentive to my needs.
