Excellent hotel and service.
-
Very clean, comfortable in the staff was amazing

The hotel is fine but every time you book a room with Hotels.com expect to get the room next to elevator and/or ice machine even if you are a Bonvoy member.
-
that the room was too cool and wasn't able to adjust the thermostat. Front desk tried to walk me through adjusting the thermostat but was unsuccessful. Also the refrigerator didn't keep food cold, fortunately management was able to accommodate me and guest with a complimentary breakfast.

There was some sort of convention and it was very loud at 2 o’clock in the morning people were yelling hollering

It’s older, and you can tell, even though I didn’t have any serious maintenance issues while I was there. It has a small bar and restaurant, and supposedly has room service but there is no menu or anything else in the room to indicate that it does. Maybe that was on the tv, I didn’t check. The room was ok, no waters or anything extra was available, and you could hear a lot of noise from the streets and highway outside. The downtown Springfield area in general isn’t very nice, so the hotel kind of just blends in with that. The room was clean and I had no real problems with the room, but it wasn’t anything to admire either. I had stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn down the street for my last trip to Springfield, and honestly, that was nicer. For business travel, you pretty much have this or the Sheraton, and the Sheraton doesn’t have great reviews either. So it suffices for a place to stay and that’s it.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very convenient location. The parking garage and directions to enter the hotel were not marked out clearly.

Great location, nice shower, clean room and friendly, helpful staff The room had kind.of a funny odor. Not terrible, just a stuffy, stale smell. My reservation said it included breakfast but it did not. I do wish there was complimentary coffee available for guests in the lobby.

The overall stay was great the only problem was at breakfast the kitchen lost our ticket and our waitress ignored us when we questioned her she said she didn't tell us about the error because she didn't want us to blame her we waited nearly an hour for our food
-
Clean, spacious Parking machine was blocked when we arrived. Espresso cost 4 dollars!
-
Good location. The dining room was under staffed. Dinner and breakfast was a 2 hour commitment and we nearly missed our daughter’s graduation. The server forgot my husband’ s chowder.
-
Great hotel, smells great as soon as you walk in, staff is very friendly and the bar area is really nice and prompt.

Great stay

Clean and close to all activities

Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Coffee not too strong not too weak. All the staff we encountered were very polite. Check in was a little had to understand because of the accent. Bar/restaurant closes a 11pm, just as we walked in from a concert. Nothing within walking distance was open at that time to eat.
