The Front Desk staff was excellent!

I was scammed out of mu money. Drove all the way there and it was closed. Out of business. No one emailed or refunded me or notified me.

Called to make sure we would be on the first floor because my husband has mobility problems. We were placed at the very back of a long hallway. There is no maid service even for extended stays until you check out. Breakfast had very limited selections. All doors except the front door were exit only. The furnishings were pretty worn out. The bathtub was very high to step into. Lighting in the bathroom was terrible. The parking lot was very rutted.

Got to the property and they were closed. No notification…. Had to find another hotel at the last minute. I got lucky and another hotel had a room. But had to pay full price because I did not book in advance.

Hotel closed by the city board of health.

The building is condemned.

We get there are the hotel has a sign posted saying it was not fit for human habitation. You call their number and it hangs up. They did not contact Orbitz to let them know to contact reservations. We were 3 hours from home at 10pm with no place to stay.

Arrived to find a notice on the front door that the property had been closed due to being unfit for human habitation. Never received any kind of notice about this prior to arriving at the property.

We had to make a last minute search and booking for Independence Day weekend, that was more than twice the distance from our workplace and more expensive. Now, we may have dodged a bullet (could have been bedbugs? Or black mold? Cockroaches?) but i really feel that the complete absence of customer service from both the Baymont by Windham St Charles and hotels.com was completely unacceptable.

We booked this hotel back in April for one night July 5. When we arrived, the hotel was closed. There was a sogn on the door that it was uninhabitable. We had zero notice and had to scramble to find another hotel in the area.

This property was closed by the city of St. Louis due to being unfit for human inhabitants. I did not get any sort of notification of this, until I tried to check in after my concert that I was in town for. Now Expedia is giving me the run around to get a refund because the hotel wouldn’t answer the phone when they tried to call— but the hotel is legitimately closed so of course they will not answer.

Needs a refurbishment

The only savings grace was the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was not presented in the best light. Furniture was old and tattered. The breakfast was a lot of carbs. I went to breakfast all five days, and there was only mystery meat and sausage left on one of those days - no bacon.

The door peephole was broken and had toilet paper stuck in it. The tub floor was dirty and stained. Kleenex box had two tissues in it. There was a dark footprint on the sheet. Paint coming off the walls.

The property worked great for an over night stay to attend an event at the Family Center.

Very helpful friendly staff.

Some areas under construction- will be better when done I'm sure.

The window leaked a little and the lady at desk was willing to move me but said we already unpacked. So it was ok. Very pleasant help
