The hotel staff was incredibly kind and responsive. The property was pretty beat up including guest rooms and especially hallway and lobby furnishings. There were layers of stains on the chairs in the breakfast area. Again, the staff was great and worked hard to make our experience pleasant, including bringing us extra blankets in the evening and keeping the breakfast buffet stocked. The hotel ownership needs to invest in the property to go with the amazing people who work there.

Everything was as good as it is, except the location this time there were a lot of "neighborly" noise, like the pitter-patter of foot traffic or little children crying. At least it was quiet when it mattered most, during sleep.

The room was clean and it was nice and cool when we entered. The breakfast was a good Southern breakfast. Coffee bar was well stocked and good. Outback was right next-door and walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again when we visit our son.

Staff was friendly and helpful! The hostess at the desk went above and beyond to get my daughter a cup of milk, even though it was outside of dining hours!

We couldn’t even stay because it was 1 am on June 1st I made reservation for May 31-June 1 as we were just needing a few hours of sleep. The staff couldn’t check me in and couldn’t change anything for me. If this is not possible to get around booking.com really needs to fix this problem and you should not be able to book a day prior. If I had done it for June 1, we wouldn’t be able to check in until much later that day. I will be disputing these charges as the booking should have never been allowed.

Staff are always exceptional here. Customer service is still.alive and well in the statesville Hampton.
