Only needed a night, was a great stay.

I took advantage of a special deal which landed me in The Country Lodge. Very dated and not very clean. Had a very musty smell-I assume mostly coming from the old rug and the pets that are allowed in the rooms. But the price was low so it worked out for the 5 nights I was there.

Clean and we like staying here.

C’était vraiment très bien. À notre arrivée, sans qu’on le demande, la réceptionniste nous a gracieusement offert un surclassement dans une suite avec balcon. C’était parfait!

Room includes free Continental Breakfast at their bakery. Top shelf items are free, They are made on site and way better than anything at standard hotels. The rest of the display are items that can be purchased. Absolutely divine and most guest bought those as well.

The front desk staff and the staff at the bakery and tavern were excellent. The complimentary breakfast pastries were delicious. The historic inn room we stayed at overnight is great for a couple days stay! Lots of history associated with this place.

The property was gorgeous, the furnishings were beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, the gardens were stunning! We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and especially enjoyed the complimentary pastries and coffee before we continued on our journey.

It is a historic building with large rooms next to the pool. The price was excellent and location was convenient to major highways.

Wonderful stay- thank you!

Love it here! We’ve stayed in the Historic inn, motor lodge and the Tillyer House. The Tillyer house is our favorite. It’s spacious clean and fairly new construction. The Historic inn is great as well, also clean but has the authentic charm of staying in some place historic. The Motor lodge is our least favorite. While it is clean the room felt very dated and could use a little upgrading. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the complimentary breakfast pastries from the bakery are always a plus!!

The facility was very nice. We ate in the on site tavern/restaurant. One problem is there was a fire alarm malfunction before 7am. We had to vacate our room. The fire company was summoned. The alarm was malfunctioning…They got it turned off. We returned to our room but the alarm went off again. We left our room and it was turned off again. There was an electrical issue that had to be addressed by an electrician. We checked out. They were busy so we did not get any compensation for the disruption

Charming inn with tremendous character. Not for travelers who want spacious modern rooms, but great place to recapture a more peaceful time.
