SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Overall we had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed smash burgers on the top floor Resturant! Room was nice for 3 adults. Trundle bed mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, thankfully I was able to move to the sofa. There were 3 adults in the room, when we asked for the 3rd set of towels, coffee, etc we were given everything but said they only supply 2 water bottles. Come on, you say the room accommodates 6 people, would it hurt you to give a water bottle per person? It’s been over 2 weeks now, and I’m still waiting to receive my $50 security deposit. Guess I’ll have to call. They said it would take a few days.

Lovely stay! Staff was friendly, rooms are large & spacious! The little rooftop restaurant bar & pool was super cute too

The location was not safe. People hanging outside the hotel, asking for money. The service was OK, the gratuity was high, paid almost $300 for one night, breakfast was cold, could be better. A hot breakfast, less gratuity charges, room was fine went left, we are not a messy family.

Parking expensive and tight parking spaces; excellent staff and breakfast! Clean. Rooms small bathroom directly at foot of bed tight small room like a hotel in NYC. The view was a cement wall.

Clean room, the staff were pretty helpful for the most part. There was a moment where they didn’t provide any towels which was a bummer for such an expensive hotel. Also the parking is not included, they charge $30 per night to park and it’s not guaranteed. The breakfast wasn’t too shabby.

It was new and clean and comfortable and spacious. The gentleman at check-in was extremely friendly, and all staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied and some of the more natural/whole food options offered were a pleasant surprise for this class of hotel. Just a warning about parking - it is possible that the garage on-site will be full, but we were fortunate to find the last spot when we returned from a concert. Definitely recommend!

We visit Tampa for our 12th Anniversary on July 5th, and we had an amazing time. On July 4th 2026, we went out celebrating and when we return back to the hotel. There was absolutely no parking in the garage, and we paid for parking during our stay. We had to pay to park down the street from the hotel, this was so disappointing.
