My experience at the Barrymore was exceptional. This is a must go to hotel. The staff…. So professional and friendly. The restaurant served delicious food. The room was perfect. Also, I had a terrific view from my room. Internet worked perfectly!!!! I will return if I visit Tampa again.

Location was fine, room was fine, shuttle was great and the gentleman that drove in the evening was wonderful. There was no complementary breakfast and so you had to by all meals which was a little expensive.

We arrived on Wine Wednesday and were treated to a surprise—a top quality charcuterie board and complimentary drinks from 4-5 PM. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant and used the free shuttle service to go to the aquarium. The hotel is just across the street from the Straz Performing Arts Center and perfectly located to walk to local museums. The property is also pet friendly and we plan to return in December 2026 with our dog.

Shuttle and Restaurant accomodations I requested floor preference well in advance of stay but Hotel couldn’t accommodate. No clean up or clean towels given.

Happy hour gave you free drinks. But the Chardonnay was absolutely undrinkable. The color was a dark yellow brown. Perhaps charge $5 and upgrade the product.
