The Tampa EDITION

For the price point and name, this property is severely lacking. After booking, we received a notice that the pool is under renovation which was a reason for booking. The options were to use pools at 2 other properties near by which were both at capacity. The room smelled like an old rag when we arrived. Brought cleaning staff again who just wiped down the closet and bathroom. We had to spray our own perfume to make the smell go. We lost our room key and needed to get into our room, front desk did not ask for proof of identity, meaning anyone could have come into the room if they had basic info. Black out curtains do not black out the light. Was up numerous times at night due to outside traffic. The Edition has its name due to their spa which is the only thing worth booking at this hotel. Don’t waste your time or money.

Staff is very helpful offering concierge services throughout the stay. Very welcoming when coming in and out and they remember who you are.

Ordering coffee was very slow, neither latte or coffee hot enough. Pretty bad luck with room service, same thing Luke warm and burger inedible… salad was quite good

We had brunch on property at The Market twice and everything was delicious. The drinks at the pool bar were amazing. I loved how they had sunscreen and after sun lotion up there for easy access. Lilac was a great meal. We cannot wait to eat there again. We did the tasting, which was 8 courses and well worth the experience. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. We did not take advantage of the gym, but next time we go there we will definitely do so. Everyone at the property was super sweet. We had an amazing time with zero complaints. We will be back for another special occasion!
