Westin Tampa Downtown Waterside

No access to gym due to construction for renovations/repairs. Lobby was basic and completely covered with drapes.

Was under renovation was advised before we left that we can use marriott waterside 2 blocks away instead we had to take uber to aloft

Love the hotel and location, and staff. The only negative was the pool was closed down, but still our favorite hotel to stay in when we come to visit family!!

The hotel is undergoing construction and we were not aware, the noise is very loud, we were moved and still heard sounds like a jackhammer. All amenities were essentially closed but you still pay a destination fee. The bars surrounding the hotel are loud at night. Do not recommend. Also they have mandatory valet at 50.00 a night

Hotel is under construction and rooms are not great. Would not stay at this property again.

Great stay close to everything

The hot water of the shower was not ok, no hot water.

Great location, comfortable beds Luke warm to cold showers each morning (scalding hot at night). Ice machine on our floor was turned off.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The property is under renovation and there was no notification about this when we booked the room. Had it been made clear that the property was under renovation we would not have stayed at this hotel. There was no access to the gym or the pool. They offered use of a pool at that Marriott Waterside which was inconvenient to access from this hotel. When we booked the hotel, there were many other hotel options which were less expensive than Westin Tampa Waterside but we had confidence in the Westin name so we went with it. Boy, were we wrong. During our stay even though we were gone from our room from the morning until late afternoon, not once was our room cleaned. We had to call downstairs and ask for the room to be cleaned. When it was finally cleaned very late in the afternoon, the cleaning people had an attitude about it and the cleaning of the room was minimal. Also, we had to give our rest time to have the room cleaned which should have been done in the morning or early afternoon. The breakfast was held in a makeshift ballroom. I would not stay at this hotel again until the renovations are 100% complete.

Loved our stay at the Westin! Even with the remodeling, the staff was very accommodating.

Everyone was very professional. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very quiet food was excellent.
