Sleepy Hollow Hotel, a Dolce by Wyndham

The property was clean and attractive. The location was quiet, but close enough to the city. My only real complaint was that the mattresses were not comfortable.

The breakfast was one of the worst that I have ever had.

it’s a beautiful place, but if you aren't Jewish, you're better off not going. The app says breakfast is included, but that isn't true; you have to pay for it, and the menu is designed for Jewish guests.

Customer service at the desk was very nice and helpful.

we went to the restaurant after checking in. we were told that we had to have a reservation, even though most of the tables were empty. they finally said we could sit down, and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. after getting our VERY expensive drinks and appetizer the waiter did not come back for quite a while. it was so noisy in there with kids misbehaving, and a party going on in the next room, that it was hard to relax. the menu was extremely overpriced. we decided to pay our bill and leave. my husband tried to talk to the waiter but he did not want to hear anything. we paid and went elsewhere to eat dinner, and by the time we got back the pool was closed so we couldn't go. our room was so far away from the check in desk, so we tried to park in the back and enter there. our key did not work to open the door. someone came out and saw us there but didn't bother holding the door for us. the walls of the room were so thin that was very noisy. the hotel advertised having internet, but unless you were a Wyndham rewards member you had to pay. we will never stay at another Wyndham hotel again.

You will wake up feeling like you're at a Synagogue, basically.

No other comments to add. It was ok but not spectacular. The staff wasn't very friendly.

The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer upon check-in. The hotel lobby and grounds were beautiful, and the restaurant's outdoor patio was quite inviting. My only complaint was that the room doors banged so hard, the guests coming and going in the hallway were a bit disturbing.

I swear there was absolutely no soundproofing at all in my room. I heard screaming and shouting from the pool, the hallway, a phone ringing in another room...it was awful. It was after midnight before it was quiet enough to try to get to sleep. The restaurant was ridiculously overpriced. The only positive thing about my stay were the bath towels...those were great. Everything else was awful.

The experience was great, and the hotel has a great team. We had an un-anticipated challenge due to another guest who disregarded the property rules, and . The staff responded and made the appropriate adjustments to ensure that our stay was unaffected. Great team!

Im sorry but it was not a very pleasant stay. The hallways and room smelled like mildew. The water was backing up in the shower when in use. Thier were stains on the chair in the room. Very disappointed due to the area it was in.

It was a pleasant getaway. It had all of the amenities we were looking for.
