Stayed for Alabama football weekend. It served its purpose and close to campus.

Everything Nothing

The staff was very warm and welcoming and the hotel was really clean and nice!

I so appreciated that this property allowed us to reserve a room for just one night on a game weekend. Many other properties said they had a two-night minimum which is ridiculous. When you walk in the door the beautiful Marriott aroma greets you and you feel immediately welcomed. The front desk staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, but some of the furnishings seemed a little dated. The shower was hot the beds were comfy. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast that morning, but it looked delicious as we were passing by. Overall a really nice stay.

They were very nice and helpful moving me to another room. The 2nd room the carpet was wet because the AC was leaking. Shower did not drain. 2” of stagnant water when trying to shower. Staff was nice

Clean room, nice staff

Regular coffee was out at 7AM the first day. And still not replaced 30 min later. Eggs looked artificial. Several of the lights on our bedroom didn't work. And the air conditioning didn't cool well - but it worked fine in the outer room. Lot of traffic noise at all hours as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The heat was on in our room when we got there so that was a littlw miserable. That was really our only negative. Will stay again.

The shower had no water pressure. Asked to have room cleaned and it wasn’t on the first day there. Towels that we were given one was dirty with something brownish looking and another had a pubic hair on it. If I’m paying to stay in a hotel, with the prices the way they are, I believe that the room should be cleaned daily and fresh towels daily. Nice hotel, but needs to be maintained better. Little run down.

The bathroom set up is absolutely unsafe. There are sharp edges in the walk-in shower with no mechanism of holding on to prevent false. The one rack is at the faucets and has very sharp edges. There is no anti-slip strips on the bottom of the shower. The water flows onto the bathroom floor, making it very slippery. The commode is loose and wobbly at the base. The countertop in the bathroom has sharp edges. I have stayed at other Townplace Suites before and this one rates pitiful.

Place was clean and staff was good
