Love this property. Location is ideal for walking or driving. First floor is much better at courtyard level where you can walk outdoors. The large sliding doors allow more light in and fresh air. And the views of landscape is also nice.

The property is very well located, walking path to the beach and pier. The pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by lush landscaping and its open at 7am, perfect for early risers. The property has pond waterfall and firepits, bar. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms clean and bathrooms great. Love the easy access to freeway. Parking is only $16 per night. No other hidden fees. Staff are kind and attentive. The only thing better would be a better selection of TV channels to watch to relax after long day of enjoying Ventura, not everyone has their own Netflix account.

I should ask to accommodate us for this delayed but we check out already left early. But the staff in the front desk are very helpful and the maintenance engineer very helpful.Take note the room doesn’t have complementary . Hope this helps to improve the hotel cause is carry out the name Marriott Hotel.

I was driving from San Diego to San Francisco and wanted to get thru LA so the location was perfect. The room was lovely and comfy. And I had a great beer and burger in the lobby bar with a lovely waitress who was so sweet There were unhoused folks roaming in the parking lots and one came in and was lounging in the lobby. The staff addressed the situation.

Did not like the door to our room. Very, very heavy and difficult to open since I am a senior who uses a walker.

The building is far more run down than it appears in the photos making this a very overpriced Marriott. The only thing it has going for it is location. Building needs serious maintenance. The refrigerator in our room didn't even fit properly inside the cabinet so one of the doors was always pushed out and open. The room smelled like mold. Fire alarm went off at 1230 in the morning so we had to stand outside with our kids and all hotel guests for an hour with very little explanation or engagement from hotel staff.

Very nice hotel, great for families. Our favorites were the restaurant, pool, and spacious room. Pillows were a little flat but other than that no complaints. We would come back.
