Motel 6 Ventura, CA - Beach

The room was exceptionally tidy, and the pool was pleasantly inviting. For travelers planning to wash clothes or towels using the washer and dryer, bringing your own quarters would be helpful.

Sketchy people staying there

Air was not working then we stayed another night hope the give us a discount for our first night . But it was great weather and nice and quiet

Everything was perfect. Clean comfortable room.

It was sketchy-people yelling at each other at all times of night. Lots of work trucks staying there . Was afraid for my daughter to take her dog out for walk at night alone. You get what u pay for. Room was ok and we didn’t get bedbugs and was fairly clean.

It was a bit noisy, and I subtracted a point for cleanliness because, while I don't think the shower was first, it has some stains and looks a bit rundown but the shower pressure was good, temp great.

The property was filthy. The staff was inattentive. The Tv never worked,front desk was called but no one ever came. The ac was loud and barely giving out any cooling. There was a flood from the bathroom to the vanity area outside of the bathroom. Was told that maintenance was not on site and would not be there for an hour. The whole experience was horrendous! I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy!

Its close to my kids, love that they have an area for my dog to go outside and potty. Staff is always helpful only thing missing is a microwave in the room we travel from Sacramento to see our kids and I microwave would be great in the room.

For a low end hotel this was great. Super clean & comfortable. Basics done well.

Clean room, free WiFi, working quiet a/c and fridge. No pet fee! Rooms have clearly been refurbished. Snacks, ice, washer/dryer, microwave etc adjacent to lobby. Real grass to walk my dogs and very friendly staff. Also it’s walking distance to beach (though not the best part of town, so I probably wouldn’t walk off the premises at night). After a lousy stay in a dirty La Quinta (South Bakersfield) last month, this Motel 6 felt like a luxury and had best rates in the area by far.

As expected. Does what it says on the tin. Great location, plenty of parking. Efficient check in. A issue with the toilet flush was sorted very quickly. Close walk to beach and an in n out burger place.

A/C was busted, 'maintenance' would be there later, but no offer to change rooms. Hair on the toilet seat (yes, that kind of hair), room doors were dented, seemed like they had all been kicked or pounded on at some point, window didn't lock. I could do Motel 6 in my 20s but not in my 40s with my 12 year old with me, so we left. Staff was nice but the place was in need of some TLC. You get what you pay for I guess. But I've had much better Motel 6 experiences over the years.
