I enjoyed my stay there, rooms are very nice

The sofa bed is horrible.....the rest is ok

Clean, free parking and easy access to the freeway, beach and town. New hotel and very modern A/c in the room was very noisy. Toilet paper in the restroom was low upon arrival and when I called the front desk to ask for more, it took nearly an hour for them to bring it even though the storage closet was two doors down from our room. Breakfast was so so. Eggs were not very good but the rest of the food was.

I think you have a great property. The room amenities are excellent. The breakfast selection was excellent. However, there was dog urine in the room which left a very bad odor. I do not understand how the cleaning crew did not flag this unit for a more thorough carpet cleaning & then it was assigned to us. Furthermore, to add an additional layer of disappointment the jacuzzi was not working. We were VERY disappointed:-( See above

The room was nice The lights in the kitchen & vanity didn't work, no towels in the pool area, spa jets no working, massive noise from fwy,, room was not sufficienty cleaned, unprofessional staff, unaware of $12 parking fee.

The AC was very loud and woke me up. The automatic lights kept turning on in the middle of the night whenever someone was up but I think that was user error.

Great place to stay

I was excited to stay at the new Residency Inn Ventura as I normally stay at the Camarillo property. Everything was up to standard and expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. You can't beat having your own mini kitchen. Check in was easy and staff were friendly and helpful when we asked if there was a room on the 4th floor with some view. Breakfast was decent for a free breakfast. It's perfect for a quick bite in the morning and for families. I will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

The front desk staff was an unprofessional disaster and the hotel is plagued by technical troubles and noise. We arrived at 4pm for a 3pm check-in on our way to an event in Ojai at 5pm. We waited another 30 minutes in lobby while they tried to decide what rooms were ready/clean. When we became impatient because we had an event to go to in Ojai that we needed to shower and prepare for, a passive aggressive front desk clerk suddenly and gleefully produced a room on the first floor. I had asked for a room on the third floor, and was concerned about it being noisy by the parking lot and back entrance. She assured me this was a nice quiet room. We thanked her and happily went to the room to drop off our stuff and NOT have time to shower. We came back around 9:30pm and attempted to go to sleep. We were kept awake ALL night by a loud rumbling/thrumming sound. The room literally vibrated and ear plugs didn’t help at all. When we called the front desk at 3am they just said that they knew that that room and the ones directly above it had a yet undiagnosed noise issue that they were trying to address, and sorry there weren’t any other rooms. I went to the front desk at 3:30 to beg her for assistance face to face, but she just told me that there was a problem with that room, and smirked when I told her that the woman who checked us in had assured me it was a quiet room. “No, that is not a quiet room.” It was then that a light when off in my exhausted brain—the woman who checked us in was pissed off that we were impatient/late for the event we were there for, so she gave us this terrible room! The night shift clerk said she knew about the issue and was the person usually working when the poor guests stuck in that room would call the front desk to complain about it. THEY KNEW THIS ROOM WAS A PROBLEM. When I told her we didn’t want to be charged for the room, she told me I shouldn’t say such things because we were being watched by a video camera. Weird.

This is great location to stay. Proximity to the beach was a 10 min walk. The staff was professional, friendly and made the stay more enjoyable. It felt like home away from home. Cooking your own home meals was a plus. I even extended my stay 2 days. Will be back next month and will book at this location. Kudos the team.

Megan at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, professional, and very personable. Even when she answered the phone I’m sure you could feel her smile through the line. Really great customer service!
