Oh man I really didn't want to believe the bad reviews on this place, but it was so gross. Mold in the bathroom. Could hear the person next to us snoring. Just not a great place to visit

Smoke alarm missing, very dirty room. Screaming guests. A nightmare

Staff was nice and friendly and the location was fine. This place clearly had quite a few full time tenants but there was no issues with noise or anything. No bugs. The room was not well cleaned. The floors were very dusty and dirty. The bathroom seemed clean enough but there was hair in the sink when we arrived. The bed did not have a fitted sheet, just a flat sheet thrown over a very stained mattress cover. The online photos made the room look far nicer than it was. The baseboards and finishing of the room were very dingy and cracked and broken in a lot of places.

Friendly and very willing to accommodate

Was a nice spot local to stay for the night. Walking distance to a lot. Was clean. It is just an older hotel. Water took like 10 minutes to get hot, but at least it finally did. There are people living here full time.

My wife and I had a very bad experience we were there to run the Ventura Marathon on Sunday morning we got there Saturday they put us in a room that the AC didn't work and then the tenant on the side who I presume lives there hack the music loud and kept knocking on the walls until 3:00 a.m. which is the time we left for the marathon he hardly got any sleep and couldn't get our rest for Marathon

The first room was nice. And the air conditioning was cool. None of the room phones worked. The place looked completely run down from the outside. there are no second locks on the doors so the workers knocked twice and just open the door every time didn’t matter if you were sleeping or awake or going to the bathroom. I got the room and went with the intentions of spending the night in the same room I was in for 4 days…and after the check out time I was called on my cell phone to let me know that I had to change rooms. The only reason I stayed at this motel to begin with was I had a surgery at the hospital and I could barely move let alone pack all my stuff up go to a different room . They made me change rooms. Charge me double what I have been charged for the rest of the week and then I went to the other room in which I have pictures that I would have never stayed at. I do have pictures and videos of the second room and proceeded to call the lady who told me she did not charge my card yet and yet booking.com. Yes, had already charged my card… I would love to upload more pictures and I do plan on doing so on the hotels website there was no smoke detectors. A halfway burned down dresser windows that didn’t close what flies and bugs were getting in. Absolutely disgusting.

I didn’t like how I was treated nor how I didn’t get a full refund from the property manager at that. Another reason is because I was put in a hostile situation where I was asked to see if the people next door would kindly move one of their cars from in front of my door which made them mad and started yelling an slammed the door in my face and took the manager to come and talk to them about it but I was already told stuff so I didn’t want to stay nor did I felt safe to stay ! Didn’t even use the room at all. Felt really unsafe and not treated fairly at all. All I wanted was my refund back from here and they denied it so I definitely don’t recommend. Parking is horrible at that.

Reserved a king but got 2 doubles which is fine. The room was so filthy. Infested with black mold. I would never advise anyone to stay there. Very very bad

Dark and dirty.

I've have always chosen rex motel comfy conscience and always highly recommend but this time was little shabby curtains were dirty and ripped I swear I remember this place as prestien and reasonable safe I will still choose rex motel . Needs some upgrades and blankets in rooms well ours only had thin sheet like blanket pillows awesome but I remember 4 not two
