Bad experience overall.

There were bugs and no water when we woke up to leave

However, our experience with cleanliness was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the room had a strong smell of marijuana. During the three days we stayed, housekeeping never cleaned the room or replaced the towels. In addition, when we moved the beds, we found the floor underneath to be extremely dirty and greasy, which clearly showed a lack of proper cleaning. Another issue was the noise at night. On one of the nights, several guests were shouting and fighting in the middle of the night, including women arguing loudly. It was very disturbing and made it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, no staff member appeared to intervene or address the situation. Because of the poor cleanliness and the lack of control over disruptive noise, we would not recommend this hotel. While the location and parking are excellent, the hotel needs to significantly improve its cleaning standards and ensure a quieter, safer environment for its guests.

I would only have to state that the building has a pest issue that needs delt with.

The bathtub faucet is broken, the furniture is broken, it's not like it is in the pictures online, but the people are friendly. However, the place needs renovation; it looks very poor, and there are no utensils for the kitchen.

It was a bed to sleep in in a pinch. For cheaper than most. But don't expect much. Room smelled like cigarettes.

Just location on what I needed to do Non-smoking room smelled horrible of cigarette smoke. Smelled like butt hole and 3 dirty ashtrays. It was bad. Bed uncomfortable and not room described when we booked. It was supposed to have a lounge area also and did not.

The room was dirty and dingy, mouse droppings in the closet, dirty scuffed floors, the stovetop did not work, coils not even fitted or connected, oven was filthy, chairs mildewy, 1inch gap on the bottom of front door to room allowing bugs to come in, bed linens were stained, the room looked not even close to the pictures advertised on the sight. Air conditioner in bedroom did not work, and was propped open by a piece of cardboard. Was not offered any compensation for non working appliances, was argued with about parking fee, non working stove and lack of advertised amenities.

Very misleading pictures. I do not believe any of those picture are the actual rooms here. Room was filthy, and poorly maintained. Huge gap under the door to the outside. It is a dump in a reasonably good location. I'm sure this is a trap house in the off-season.

The air conditioning worked and sheets were clean. It looks like it’s on the verge of collapse. I felt like I was staying in the owners guest bedroom.

We had to wait hours to get into a room for “cleaning “ the room was definitely not clean in any manner of the word. We couldn’t take our shoes off without having disgusting black dirty feet. Pillows were stained no where to sit that wasn’t dirty and stained. Absolutely atrocious! Wouldn’t recommend!!

The television did not work, even after the front desk attendant and I attempted to troubleshoot it with a replacement cable. The exterior door was so loose in its frame that it would not stay fully closed, creating a security concern. The smoke detector was not functional because it had no batteries installed. Several electrical outlets were pulled out from the wall, with some cords appearing to be held together with duct tape. The shower was not usable because the shower head holder was broken, preventing us from taking a shower. The room was also dirty, and we killed several roaches during our stay. Unfortunately, no other hotels were available within a 20-mile radius, leaving us with no choice but to stay. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention and requested a partial refund, he was dismissive and offered excuses for every problem. He claimed he lacked authority to issue a refund, although employees indicated he was the person running the property. He refused any refund and instead offered 20% off a future stay, an offer I found unreasonable given the condition of the room and the fact that I would never return. I was not seeking a full refund, only fair compensation for paying for accommodations that failed to provide basic cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The rooms are unsightly and very out dated. would I recommend no.

We checked in and on the walk up the 3 sets of stairs, I could tell this wasn't very maintained. Inside the room it was FILTHY. Looked as if it was never cleaned. Stained cupboards and floors. Filthy cloth chairs and couch. I immediately contacted hotels.com and after a 20 min wait they told us to contact the property. While waiting we noticed bugs on the floor. AI says they were cockroach nymphs. We immediately went to desk and were told that because we stayed for almost an hour that they couldn't refund the full stay. We packed our stuff back into the car and left. The place is horrendous. Do NOT be fooled by the pictures and location. A true roach motel.

I don't know how this place passes any kind of inspection in order to stay in business. The first room they gave us was rank with smoke. The second room we got had definitely been smoked in recently but not as bad as the first. The floors haven't been mopped in a long time. Our feet were gross from walking barefoot so we wore our shoes inside. The AC blew lukewarm air and could not be changed to a different setting or turned off. The covers on the bed were as thin as a sheet and not adequate. The water in the bathroom sink only dribbled out. The hair dryer did not work. The towels have been worn thin. The walls were thin and you could hear everything from next door. There were ducks swimming and pooping in the pool. Late on the first night, a Va. Beach local person knocked on our door and was surprised when I opened the door.
