The Sitio

Very beautiful hotel. It felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed watching the surfers daily overlooking the Atlantic park from the hotel pool:lounge area. The Pistachio muffins were amazing. I appreciated having the cute little straw bag with good heavy thick towels for the pool/beach they provided. And the location is perfect and within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and surrounding restaurants. The restaurant next door The Hampton Social was phenomenal. We enjoyed having a nice dinner there. We will definitely plan ahead next time and book a surf session it's an option through Atlantic Park adjoining the hotel. Very nice and lovely staff. I will definitely plan to visit again.

Very nice rooms and cool Sunroom. Wish pool was just a lil bit bigger but great vibe overall.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property was immaculate. The pool created a very nice atmosphere to relax in the infinity pool which had an amazing view of the nearby surfing pool and have a nice drink. The whole property had a sleek, modern feel which impressed me. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing 2 things which were minor complaints was the fact that the large main window of our room faced the parking lot where people were and if the drapes were open everyone outside could see into your room. Also it was somewhat disappointing to have only one sink when it seemed to have space enough for two. Other than that I was very pleased and would visit again. I would rate it 4.5/5 stars

The biggest issue was a terrible sewer odor coming from the bathroom drain. The smell was so strong that it resembled a men's urinal in a dive bar. Staff came to the room and poured Pine-Sol down the drain, but unfortunately it did little to eliminate the odor. The smell permeated the entire room, making it difficult to relax or sleep. My husband and I ended up sleeping with the sheets pulled over our noses just to tolerate it. To make matters worse, around 2:00 a.m. we had to call the front desk because of excessive noise right outside our door. For a boutique hotel, we expected a more peaceful and upscale experience. The room was also missing some basic conveniences, such as a full-length mirror, which would have been helpful when getting ready to go out. I will say that the staff was very kind and watching the surfers from the property was a highlight of our trip. However, those positives couldn't outweigh the unpleasant odor, lack of sleep, and overall experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here. The beautiful aesthetics simply don't make up for the significant comfort and maintenance issues we encountered.

The location is perfect so many neighboring restaurants and stores is in the area close proximity to the beach staff very welcoming. I’m looking forward to planning my next staycation there.

One of my favorite touches was the morning coffee service, which made the mornings feel extra relaxing and elevated. It’s the little hospitality details like that that truly make a stay memorable. The Sitio is such a beautiful addition to Virginia Beach, and I can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and welcoming stay by the beach!

A must stay! I loved it.

We arrived late to drop off my fiance the next morning for deployment and the staff was so accommodating and allowed us to enjoy the pool and us around. Highly recommend.

Very clean. Very intimate and staff were extremely pleasant? I didn’t have a full body mirror, so my husband I add tussled over the bathroom mirror.

The attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and made our stay extra special. We’ve already booked our next visit.

The facility overlooking a huge wave generator for surfing gave the sound of the ocean and is very attractive. As was the patio with a heated pool and firepits overlooking the surf area. The cocktails were good as was the limited menu of foods.
