Aloft by Marriott Waco Downtown

We love everything about this aloft location. Great staff, wonderful location and amenities. Good bar too if you’re looking for a cocktail. Digs are welcome and given treats!

Pool had trash in it. Asked about cleaning & she said person left for the day so she got back to texting on her phone. Hallways were hot but rooms were cold. Never used the pool but worked out in the fitness room. Enjoyed the options. Good workout. Lack of enticing breakfast options. Could hear ppl yelling on the street early morning.

The property itself was just lovely. There were some staff members not really knowledgeable about hospitality. For instance we needed new towels and they wanted us to bring all our dirty towels down stairs to exchange for new towels! Then when it was time to check out we found they had added extra costs to our bill for food we NEVER ate. Thankfully they took off the charges but other than that the hotel was nice. I just wish the sink was in the bathroom WITH the toilet and tub not outside…

Beds were very comfortable but the property was worn.

Love this location I always stay at aloft whenever I visit Waco Tx! , and a special shout out to Vincent at the front desk he rocks!!!

Room was warm. Met a few other travelers who had same issue.

It was pretty nice, room was good. Location not the best neighborhood, but it’s close to the university, so that’s a plus.

I stayed for a week while my daughter attended line camp at Baylor. Hotel is very clean and staff was great. I worked in the lobby for 8 hours with no issues with WiFi.

Breakfast/food area was not stocked and breakfast was just one person doing it and took very long. Even something like a bagel took very long time so people barely utilized breakfast area.

Everything was great. The breakfast menu didn't offer traditional breakfast, and the pool needed the bugs removed. I didn't see a hot tub but would have loved to

I’d probably stay in one of the of the nearby hotels next time.

Very nice hotel

I made reservations very far in advance only to find when checking in late in the afternoon that the hotel was full and I was given a handicap room. These rooms are geared for wheelchairs and counters are higher, commode seats are higher, no bedside lighting all lighting overhead and bright!!

Location did not seem safe. Across street from the projects. Staff was not helpful. Breakfast items were not good. Had no extra towels; offered pool towels. Room was not cleaned thoroughly. Ants by the window seals.

Everything was very nice and the staff wwas very accomodating.

Updated hotel with big, comfortable rooms. Great location in Waco.
