The location was very nice. Right in the town of Waco and very close to the Dr Pepper museum! Walkable area and many restaurants to choose from, also next to a 7/11 No complaints
-
Towels had stains, bathroom floor was filthy and breakfast was sub par
-
Very clean and modern. Friendly staff The sound of traffic was almost too much and the breakfast was just ok.
-
Rooms where clean the suite had plenty of room for my family

Terry, the breakfast person, was extremely helpful and so nice. Bed was comfortable. Check in for a disaster. I made my reservation through Booking.com. Rate was cheaper than booking directly using my Bonvoy membership, but not by much. Prepaid Reservation could not be found. According to desk clerk Andrea, new system was slow. Finally after calling her asst manager, Cristal, at home (no manager on duty at 4:30-5:30 pm Sunday) & I spoke w/ Cristal suggesting just put us in a room so Andrea could wait on 12 people behind us & deal with reservation later, we got a room. Went to room, key card would not work. Went to get new card. Opened door with Diego (employee escort w/ master key card in case our key card did not work, but he was not a desk clerk) & room was OCCUPIED (luggage and unmade bed, thankfully no naked people). Went back downstairs, Andrea now had a coworker (who evidently would not take her or Diego's word that I had a prepaid reservation so had to call Cristal from back room to verify) finally gave us key cards to a clean & unoccupied room. All this took an hour. We spoke to coworker in elevator on our way back out. He said he was doing an inperson check of supposedly ready rooms. We were not the only ones sent to occupied or unclean rooms. Evidently new system does not generate an accurate accounting of clean, ready and unoccupied rooms to select from. I spoke with Diana, the general manager, the next morning at checkout. She apologized for the "misunderstandings" & the inconvenience and blamed everything on the new system. Diana told me that the new system is Marriott wide. Either their new system is not ready for use or they need better training of the system. Kudos to Andrea kept calm throughout. But Diana made no effort to try to make anything up to us, probably because we booked through a third party. And she really didn't seem very apologetic about the no management on duty to back up the employee(s) or the hassle at check in.

It was all right a little outdated and the buffet breakfast was not very good

We plan on requesting a full refund. Like I said, we usually love Marriott hotels and travel A LOT. But this was one of the worst stays we habe ever had, sadly so.

Property was good. Excellent location. A bit over priced. Thought the pool area would be nicer......it was just ok. Continental breakfast was really goog!

Very clean
-
Hotel overall was good. Breakfast was poor. Lack of selection and powdered eggs.
-
2nd stay at this hotel. Disappointed in the breakfast this time. Minimal options. Was out of many items and one was due to only having expired yogurt.
-
Very clean. Super easy check in. Just a couple of blocks from the Magnolia Silos. Easy walk. Only drawback is the road noise. Light sleepers might not be happy.
-
Only complaint would be the breakfast specifically the microwaved bacon- yuk

First room was dirty like someone had been in there (random red rag, soda bottle and had couple pieces of marijuana on the nightstand..) requested a second room that was also dirty but not as bad.. the shower had hair on the walls, night stand had sticky drink rings on them and the carpets were wet, cold and smelt a little mildewy. there also was homeless people hanging around the parking lot.. they do lock the doors after 10pm and you have to use your guest key to get in but was a little worried about my car being in the parking lot. sheets were clean and bed was comfortable but won’t be booking again..

Unfortunately, we noticed a black stain on one of the pillows that also smelled sour, along with several questionable stains on the carpet. The shower had pink buildup on the door, and the sink drained extremely slowly. Cleanliness is the most important thing when it comes to hotel stays, so this was disappointing. Overall, great service, but the cleanliness and maintenance need improvement.

We came to visit Baylor and were so close, super convenient! We could see The Silos from our room which was also neat. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast made mornings easy. Not hotels fault but the parking lot and surrounding area are full of homeless people, people approaching asking me to buy them things.

A little walk to the main tourist attractions. Right next to a fuel station and shop so handy for grabbing drinks etc.
