I use this hotel frequently to visit GM. It is one of the best values in the area. There are cheaper places, but they often have issues w/ wifi & sometimes have dumpy rooms. This place is consistently clean, the TV is easy to use, WIFI is great & the staff is very friendly! The breakfast is good, but not great...but I have not found a better one in the area - certainly not at this price!

Some point for the management: 1- I felt upset to charge me $25 for early check-in for arriving only one hour early at 2pm! That’s completely unacceptable. 2- breakfast items was reduced compared to my previous stay few years ago.

There was a bad smell. Shower was difficult to work. The elevator sounds like it’s going to break.

It’s was just okay. Seemed clean but outdated. The “breakfast” was pretty lame. Staff was nice tho.

I had to change rooms. My toilet didn't work properly and the detachable shower-head was broken. Plus the water in the bathroom sink was slow going down. I was in a bind last night because I was having work done on my house so I needed the room. Then they took two deposits out of my bank account. The lady at the front desk last night was a sweet heart and she did what she could do. Management dropped the ball, in my opinion.

There were two good things: the front desk attendant was lovely, and the bed sheets were very soft and comfortable (50% of the pillows were the good ones you can sink into, 50% were the kind that feel like they're full of crusty cotton balls). The best way to experience this hotel is to curl up in the bed (touching only the inside of the clean sheets), close your eyes, and lose consciousness. If you can stomach the general vibe of neglect, decay, filth, and hopelessness, it can be a quiet place to get some good rest.
