Enjoyed the stay

We arrived to our reserved King Suite with a sofa bed. Despite a reservation for four people, there was no bedding on hand for the sofa bed. We were in a heat wave of 95 degrees and the air conditioner could not cool the room from 79 degrees. Relocated to another King Suite. Went to turn in the TV to watch the NYC fireworks and there is no remote in the room. So I had to contact the front desk a minimum of four times to resolve issues. The pool water is opaque and didn’t look inviting. Wallpaper is peeling off the bathroom walls. Generally, our experience is a disappointment and not deserving of an 8.4 rating.

We checked in on July 4th at 10:30 pm and Craig was the only reservation member. It must’ve taken us an hour to finally check in. There were three parties in front of us and everyone coming and asking him for something and then the room card machine didn’t work and he had to keep leaving the desk to let people in their rooms. Someone complained of ants and Craig told me not to worry because they were on the 1st floor and we were on the 4th. I had to also call the front desk because our toilet was clogged and wouldn’t flush. And there was a bug on the bathroom floor which Chat gbt said was a small cockroach. The shower pressure was very weak and hot water wasn’t hot. Craig did his best to accommodate us but they needed more staffing

Breakfast area was good, employee kept the food replenished. Unfortunately the rear door to the building was locked and we had to walk the entire length of the building to enter it. We are disabled and there were no spaces available in the front of the building. Area was quiet. They need to install cigarette receptacles so the parking lot doesn’t look like a ashtray.

Rooms very clean staff not friendly or helpful in anyway

Front desk staff was awesome

The biggest issue was the room—it had a very strong musty, mold-like smell that was concerning and made the stay uncomfortable. The bathroom also wasn't in great condition, with brown stains around the bathtub, and the shower curtain had several holes in it. Overall, the hotel felt very OUTDATED and could really benefit from better maintenance and a deeper level of cleanliness. While it may work for a short stopover, I wouldn't choose to stay here for an extended visit.
-
The hotel is very poorly maintained. Both the rooms and common areas are in need of good clean and renovation. The staff was not particularly welcoming or friendly. At check-out, I didn’t even hear a simple “thank you for staying with us,” which left a disappointing final.

We had a very comfortable and clean suite for 2 nights in this dog friendly Holiday Inn. They don't charge anything for service dogs, and the fee for our little dog was a very reasonable $50 for the 2 nights. Some other places charge $50 or $75 per night! Breakfast buffet offers a good variety of hot and cold choices in a nice spacious dining room.

Excellent

The bathroom was not clean. Lot of hair on floor and bath tub and sink. Stains on carpet. Wallpaper ripped . The bed was good though. Cleanliness needs to be several notches higher. I have pictures to show.

The room was clean & the staff was kind but I wouldn’t stay there again. Too old, dark, old musty smell, airport shuttle was a small car & took forever to get a call through to get an airport pick up.
-
the property has its charm to begin with, the staff are friendly & helpful. Ample parking around the building. We would absolutely recommend it.
-
Room seemed dirty, there's a stain on the comforter. The hotel also in need of update, our room is a lot more worn out compared to the pictures.
-
Really spacious room with comfortable bed felt like a bedroom in your home not a hotel. Many options for breakfast. Large lobby with running schedule of all airline departures. Wonderful location for rental car drop off.
-
We were told that they only clean 2 times a week We were due on Thursday when we left We had to ask for towels The toilet did not work They gave us a plunger Had to use the public bathroom in the lobby We expect a refund

Room came with an extra sock and candy wrappers. Stains on carpet that were really bad to the point I felt the need to let the front desk know so I did not get charged. Room was not very clean on the floor, but we were tired, the sheets were clean and room did not have bedbugs so we stayed. Breakfast buffet is not great, but ok. No hot chocolate at night. Pool was the biggest disappointment. Pool area floor was dirty, and there were no towels. The pool is very small, cloudy and cold. My kids were excited to stay at a hotel with a pool but chose not to go in after our first dip because it was too dirty for them. It’s bad when 10 and 12 year olds who swim at the YMCA and our town pool won’t use the hotel pool. Doors to exits are taped, so security is questionable at best. Our bar is not high, but this hotel did not meet our bar and we won’t be back.
-
Hotel is not new. Had to be moved twice upon arrival. Bathroom issues both times. Bathroom tile grout was missing. Did not wake up with bed bugs, so that’s a plus.
-
The staff was amazing but the hotel needed some maintenance. There were numerous issues that were beyond the staff’s ability to solve for us. I would most likely not stay again.

Thank you for letting us stay there!
