Homewood Suites by Hilton Providence/Warwick

The hotel staff, especially Mike, the maintenance manager and Jalina of the housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay.

Awful hotel

We stayed here for 5 nights for my daughter’s wedding. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. Nice to have a full sized refrigerator. The bed was small, creaky and not very comfortable. The toilet lever was loose, grout missing in bathroom floor, bathroom door only closed by lifting up on the doorknob. Neighbors across the hall had several yappy dogs that barked late into the night. Breakfast was ok. Wednesday evening they have a meet and greet in the lobby with free food and beverages, which is nice. We did not try the pool.

Everything was excellent.

Staff were friendly. Between Providence and Newport. Suite style rooms. Comfortable. With fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, sink, microwave. Stocked with dishes and silverware. - paying for parking is an unnecessary charge by the establishment. There was plenty of space, no attendant, no "security" since they state: loss of vehicle or belongings are not their responsibility. The $10 additional for parking is not called for. Felt like they are just doing it because they know people drive and don't know the area. Parking should be free for people staying there at this rate per room. -side door had issues opening with key card. Had to reinsert the card several time before it would turn green and open. -price was high

It was fine. The AC unit was located in the closet in the bedroom. The unit was loud and we were told they could not help with it, nor did they offer to move our room. Hair in the corners of the bathroom as well. We expected better. Location was great.

The plus side to this hotel was the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the common areas of the property were clean and the included breakfast was as expected. The downside to this property was the hot tub only had one working jet and tiles on the wall/window around the hot tub were loose and falling off. Our room could have been cleaner. We questioned if the sheets had even been changed from the prior guest, the air conditioning vents were filthy and the carpet not vacuumed. After checking out I got an additional charge for $10 on my card without any explanation or reason. I was happy my stay was for only one night.

Pleasant

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty and there were pubic hairs left in the sheets, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.The room also smelled terrible like wet, dirty mop water mixed with the smell of pets. The odor was so strong I couldn't breath to to my asthma that it made the room very uncomfortable to stay in. The overall cleanliness was nowhere near what you would expect from a hotel. For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum and unfortunately, this hotel did not meet that standard at all. I would not recommend staying here unless management seriously addresses these cleanliness and odor issues.

Just about everything! Splendid double master bedroom apartment with three tvs, two queens and a sofa bed. Nothing!!!
