Lyle Washington D.C.

Everything from beginning to end was effortless with this hotel and the staff were always very accommodating and helpful in anyway they could. We received a microwave and mini fridge upon request just like they promised on a little sign they had in the room. There’s one restaurant/ bar on property that we ate at once other than for the daily breakfast. The food was always good and the drinks were strong. I would stay here again when coming to DC. The hotel is also conveniently located less than 10 mins away from the Metro station which made getting around DC very easy even for someone not used to the subway/ train.

The staff was lovely, the room was clean, the bar was enjoyable and the gym was perfect.

We have stayed here many times in the last year. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. We love the bar, especially Kevin the bartender. Will definitely stay agin

Nice location in the embassy district 1/2 hour walk to monuments. Hotel is well equiped and kept clean and pleasant even if a little dated. Restaurant offers breakfast and dinner for extra pay, at a reasonable price. In all reasonable priced choice for 2-3 days trip to Washington. Please reserve free visit slots time ahead at monuments, especially the Washinton monument.

It was just one night but the experience was amazing. The location was great, lovely neighborhood within walking distance to many places. Delicious breakfast and beautiful amenities and rooms.

Our only problem though is the water. The first night we stayed there it was coming out brown, then every day/night afterwards it would come out in spurts (particularly the hot water in the sink. The shower would too but it would eventually stop). Outside of that, the hotel was great. Oh and one more thing, the restaurant messed up our breakfast order the first day so that wasn’t great, but the second day they got it right.

City of DC shut down water for 6-8 hours. There is no parking so if you have a car you will need to valet ($65/night). Beware there is a hidden hotel fee of approx $40/night charged after your stay

Spent 1 night here to celebrate a birthday. Staff was very accommodating, rooms were spotless and cozy, with the location be in close proximity to the popular clubs/bars in the area. We will 100% be staying here in the future. Couldn’t recommend a better stay in the area.

Second time in this hotel and will definitely book again when in DC. Wonderful hotel and most friendly staff, especially Solomon, at the front door.

Love this hotel. I come to work in DC once a month and this is always where I book. It’s in a safe, clean and pretty area. Just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants on 14th street. The only downside is that you cannot get a coffee before 7am in the restaurant which is disappointing if you need to be up early.

The room was very nice and it even had a small kitchenette area with a Smeg fridge. Our only little complaint here is there is no microwave so if you have leftovers, you’re going to eat them cold. I guess the kitchenette is helpful for room service or for food deliveries, but a small microwave would have been nice to have with it. Overall, this is a nice hotel and we’ll just ask for a different room next time.

Very affordable for downtown DC and the staff was extra friendly and excellent.

Just the best. I stay here whenever I’m in DC and it’s always an absolute pleasure. Perfect location, incredible staff, great restaurant, fantastically comfortable rooms. I can’t recommend The Lyle highly enough!!!
