Very unique, historic hotel still in great shape with good ambience!

Great hotel, but need bigger/more hotels though.

Loved our stay

(1) Property is EXTREMELY dated and it does not match the photos provided on Expedia or the Omni website. (2) Expedia provided an email in April stating that my deposit had been made for this reservation, but Expedia and/or the hotel never collected it for some reason, so I spent an extraordinary amount of time at check in trying to reconcile why Expedia would send me an email stating that I paid a deposit and the hotel had no record of it. (3) The view from our room (330) was awful and to make matters worse, the hotel had yellow caution tape across a portion of the windows. (4) The AC in the room was not cooling properly, but the hotel hallways were consistently freezing. (5) The shower was dated & gross. I would not stay here again. I booked this room because it was a suite appropriately sized for a family of five, however I should have booked two rooms at a different hotel.

Beautiful old building kept up wonderfully. Loved the grounds, good food, amazing staff. Just wonderful stay. Would definitely return to this hotel. metro stop, drug store and dining within walking distance.

The room was not clean. There was a lot of dust on the tables and console. A real rush job is done with housekeeping.

not a 4 Star anymore. Wall paper peeling and property looks tired. But staff was great. i will stay again next time/

Came for a work conference. Beautiful hotel, nice pool, and good location.

The bathroom shelf was crooked and hanging. The gave us seconf floor facing parking lots. The room smelled musty all the time.

The staff at the hotel are courteous and helpful. They responded via text right away to our requests. We used the outdoor pool every day during our stay. The pool and the immense outdoor space makes it worthwhile and special.

The food was great, The room was greatly sized. But the closet in the room had a moldy smell. Which over came the room.

The hotel was very well maintained and also decorated very nice! The staff was helpful.

This hotel is great especially for family! There were so many activities on site for the kids to keep them entertained and busy! Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel’s location and amenities were outstanding. The rooms are very spacious and the customer service was great. The elevators are slow and small so be prepared to wait! Also, there was an incident with one of the onsite restaurant’s staff members Tran who was very rude and unprofessional to the point her manager had to step in and ask her to go to the back! We reported her to the hotel Manager where the unfortunate incident was addressed but we did not allow that to ruin our stay because everything and everyone else at Omni Shoreham was great! We will definitely stay here again.

Only issue was having to pay for parking.

Hotel was great. Food, at least for breakfast/brunch, was disappointing

What a fun stay with my 3 children and au pair! We swam in the pool, ordered room service, got breakfast at the cafe and took pictures with the Fourth of July display. The staff was great, checkout and check in were so easy. The only complaint would be the size and efficiency of the elevator-not ideal to wait multiple trips to get up and down from our room with a stroller.

The pool area, however, is very lovely and relaxing. The garden with the fountain is beautiful, well maintained, and probably one of the nicest parts of the hotel. As for the rooms, they were clean, but just like the rest of the hotel, they desperately need renovation. The air conditioner is very loud .The carpets are extremely old, and there is a noticeable smell of mold and age throughout the rooms. There is also no proper ventilation since the windows cannot be opened. The bathroom was very small , old and not very comfortable to use. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was at Robert’s restaurant. The food was fairly tasty overall. We ordered sourdough bread with avocado and toast. Service was average. The hotel is extremely large. I can tell that many years ago it was probably considered one of the best hotels in the area, but today it honestly reminds me of an old roadside hotel where absolutely everyone stops for a night.
