The staff is excellent, the rooms are great, and the rates are reasonable.

Stayed for a quick overnight. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast provided good options. Pool was closed for renovations. Hotel was updated in most areas, however still some outdated features such as the bathtub. Convenient to restaurants and the major highways.

I'd stay here again. Room was clean, carpets good, everything worked. Breakfast was weak. Powdered eggs and something that resembled bacon but didn't taste like it. Very few options for breakfast beyond the absolute minimum.

Location. I found a bug in my room. It was determined to be a tick after much back and forth with staff. Was told it was a bed bug at first and this caused immense chaos.

Location The elevator was broke down during our whole stay. I have problems with both of my feet so climbing steps to our room did not make it easy for me. We felt we should have been contacted before our arrival that the elevator was broken. The exhaust fan in our bathroom ran non stop and would not turn off. So you had the noise of the fan running all night long. The commode ran non stop unless you wiggled and wiggled the handle to make it stop. The bathtub handle was striped and we could hardly get the water on in the tub which was horrible for a hotel. Making taking a bath should never be a problem. All in all l don’t think it is fair to us as guests of your hotel to pay a full amount for such poor service. Sincerely, Gloria Myers

Good breakfast Easy location

It’s always refreshing when housekeeping smiles and asks if they can help with things (e.g., one volunteered to throw away a bag of trash that I was carrying). When the hardest-working hotel employees strive to make good impressions, it shows me that the hotel is well run!

Breakfast and parking ok. Room was dirty. Toilet running so changed me to the adjoining room so still heard the toilet fir two days. No cleaning while there for two nights (TP not replaced, trash not taken, towels not replaced) hair on carpet. Floor so dirty that taking shower after walking barefoot, water ran dirty. Microwave did not work. Refrigerator smelled of fish. Pool closed. Location, next to Fishin' Pig, and convenience to Charlottesville and Staunton were the main draws. Staff charged me for a night despite Expedia payment for two nights...three nights, and finally back to two, but still a bit over the Expedia price. They call it Best Western Plus. Except fir the friendliness of the initial counter staff and the person setting the breakfast, it should have been called Best Western Minus.

Very rude staff. Pool broken and looked like it had ben broken for a long time. Carpet wet in our room the entire stay. Handicapped rooms shower and shower head not accessible. Breakfast terrible.
-
Pool was out of order and no equipment in the gym so therefore there was no amenities at the property as for as those. No coffee makers in room unless u request one. Rooms were nice, clean and beds comfortable.
-
Stayed 1 night on a road trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room smelled quite musty and AC was not working properly. Thermostat was at the coolest setting but not blowing cold air. Bed was comfortable though.
-
Pillows , no ac in halkways and no AC in elevator the pool was being renovated, and we wasn't aware of it.

Was great till I left my hat in my room when we checked out and called later to tell them about my hat and they never called me back about it
