Days Inn by Wyndham Waynesboro

We could bring our drinks (cokes)to teh pool. Someone was smoking on a chair right outside our room door. we had to cancel our stay.

Basic hotel, you get what you pay for. Need to pay extra for pets

The room had been cleaned, but only minimally. There was dirt behind the chairs, the top of the toilet seat needed cleaning, and there were a few small stains on the linens. We did not see any bugs or mold, though. We also did not try the breakfast. Overall, the property felt lower quality than the typical Days Inn or Wyndham property, but it was acceptable for the price we paid. I would stay again at a similar rate, especially for a simple one-night stop.

Large outdoor pool; beds were very comfortable; pretty quiet. At 10:30 when I returned to my room, I noticed there was no soap or shampoo. Went to the office to get some. Back to the room. No towels. Back to the office. Staff person was shocked and I told him when I checked in, there were no pillows on one of the beds and only sheets - no comforter or blanket. He told me he was going to just move me to the room next door. That room was fully ready. The breakfast was LACKING... just prepackaged muffins/pastries and coffee so advertising free breakfast should be changed to free coffee and muffins/pastries for breakfast. Bathroom light needs replacing.

Nothing Everything

The location was right off the interstate. It took 5 minutes for the room key card unlock the room due to being old. The room smelled like smoke; it was so bad it gave me a headache and allergy attack. The mirror in the bathroom was filthy. The tub was filthy with soap scum. The worse part was the bedbugs. I went to pull down the sheet and there were bedbugs on the sheets. I refused to stay. Now they don’t give me a refund even though I didn’t stay because their hotel room was nasty!

Exceptional

The staff were fantastic! However the room was not very clean, holes in the walls, looked like someone burnt a hole in the floor, and smelt horrible! That being said, it was cheap and I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

The property is aged and in need of upgrades, but the price is right. I found the bed to be comfortable and the room clean. I'd stay there again, FYI.
