Motel 6 West Des Moines, IA

There was no breakfast offered. Overpriced. Small rooms. Odd shaped bathroom; no tissues. Permeating smell, essential oil like, in the building and rooms so bad that I didn't want to bring in anymore that absolutely necessary so that the scent didn't follow me when I left.

I like the big base of the bathtub and how they where able to get a new room for us after the first one didn't have any lights working. Very hot water! The pool wasn't up and working which sucked. There was only 2 pillows on the beds and they were very thin. Wish the room was a little bigger.

There were a lot of maintenance issues that needed addressed, mostly in the bathroom.

Room was hot and didnt smell good, the foor was caving in and the fake food was bowing up from getting wet, key cards didn't work the first time, walls are paper thin so you can hear everything, would not stay at this pos hotel again.

The location Gum stuck on the headboard and had to change rooms because one of the rooms was leaking rain in the window

The only concern I have is that the room did not have a hair dryer, toiletries for your needs. the only soap that was available were 2 very small hand soaps. when I called to request a hair dryer I was informed that they needed my ID and to come to the desk. upon arrival I was informed that I could only use the dryer for 30 minutes because the Hotel only had one! that's impossible to dry your hair whether you just got of the shower and then go to the desk wet.
