Residence Inn by Marriott West Springfield

Breakfast was excellent My pull out bed was filled with crumbs, a giant stain in the middle of the mattress and a wet blanket was in the closet with our sheets for us to put on the bed. The mattress was falling apart and the metal bar beneath us was felt all night. Please check the pull out in room 204

Nice breakfast spread. Room was great size and setup. Staff was very friendly. My kids loved to have basketball court. Room could have been cleaner. Sofa bed mattress very uncomfortable.

Good stay but room was little dirty and bathroom was not clean as well toilet dirty pool was not bad

I must say my first impression was unpleasant. While almost all of the staff were friendly, said Hi, and were kind, the younger woman who checked me in was so unfriendly, not welcoming, and gave the impression she did not want to be there. I checked in, she was so quiet she was difficult to hear, did not smile, I had to remind her I had dogs to fill out the form, and at check out, she was at the desk again, did not ask about my stay, and again was unfriendly. Her personality was drier than the sands of the Sahara desert. At check out, she was sitting at desk, airpods in ears, watching videos on the phone, as I stood in front of her at counter for a few minutes, she never looked up, and I had to loudly say excuse me to get her attention. Otherwise, loved my stay, I especially want to praise the woman working breakfast Thursday/Friday morning, she was friendly, kind, & ensured everything was stocked! The man Saturday morning wasn't as friendly and items were emptier. Breakfast was better weekdays with sandwiches and quiche with weekend those replaced with potatoes and waffles. The suite was great, comfortable beds, clean, spacious, loved the fireplace, everything you could need and like an apartment with 2 bathrooms too! Interesting 1 bed is queen and 1 king. Great grounds to walk dogs! Pool too cold though.

Room size was great

The roim itself was fine and I was happy that there were a microwave, fridge, and even with utensils. I was in room 115. The easy access to the parking lot was great, too. Though there were people walked back and forth with loud steps for a long time and that was annoying. I thought about calling the front desk, but I didn't. It eventually stopped, but it went for a while. I had a busy weekend I was hoping to rest up.

Room isn’t cleaned daily, nor was trash picked up daily or new towels given. WiFi was unstable and no security vault provided. Door lock was broken to the room which wasn’t witnessed until upon returning from a long day…my room was open and easily able to enter should someone had the desire to do so.

I had a fantastic experience with the front desk staff, particularly the customer service representative, who went above and beyond. I was thoroughly impressed with everything and couldn't find a single aspect to criticize or dislike.

The hotel was clean & this helped. We arrived in the evening to no one working the desk. We waited for about 30 minutes to get checked in which after a long day of travel was agonizing. We usually stay Marriotts but this stay has us questioning if we will ever stay at a Residence again.

Great property

I got charged over double my credit card without any explanation for multiple days after checking out. Even the original charge was above what was listed. The room price was charged over twice, parking was over charged, and there were extra unknown charges. After calling to check the price with the hotel, there were no explanation for the charges, I asked what the charges are for and they had no answers but tried to negotiate a lower refund price than what should be returned. There were no progress in trying to solve this.

Never came to clean our room in a 5 nights stay, bathroom sink was clogged and no one came to fix it. Room tv didnt work. Empty box of tissues in room, spider in toilet with a whole web. No bathroom towels. No sponge or dish soap for kitchen utensils. We had a 2 bedroom suite. Terrible stay my family of 6 couldn't wait to leave.
