Staff 10/10 very helpful and friendly

We didn’t even get a room. We had a confirmed booking for a room with two beds and get there to be denied. It took 45 min to get it refunded and get a receipt. Then we had to scramble and go find another place.

Roach in bathroom. Asked for 1st floor but none available and steps to second floor were soft and not entirely sturdy. Paint chipping. Also, make sure you put on safety lock on door because in the morning the cleaning staff did not knock and walked in while one person was dressing. When confronted they said “well if it is check out timer will walk in”. It wasn’t 11 am yet and we still were only 5 minutes late checking out. Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Should always knock.

Room had cat litter and cat feces throughout, as well as pee stains all over the carpet. The place smells like mold, and the floors feel soggy.

The staff is amazing!! Any request we made they did their best to fulfill. The location is minutes from Crocker Park,filled with things to do. Having a full kitchen is a plus as well ,when you just want to prepare something simple.

Rooms need new paint, carpet, and remodeled bathroom. Staff great! Parking easy. Kitchen okay.

Reception hours are limited only to 8:00am - 10:00pm. Non-working out of service swimming pool. Running broken toilet in the room, terrible smell everywhere, not clean and sticky kitchen countertop, stinky uninviting bed. Stay away from this horribile place at all cost and you won't regret! Sonesta brand is severely damaged by operating this awful place called Sonesta Suites. Never again!

Worst hotel ever

Do not stay here! The pool has been closed for over a year. The room was filthy. This hotel needs a new manager and a total renovation.

Very good location stay at

The room would have been ok if it was clean. The pullout couch was filthy. Room smelled like old cigarettes. I had to literally go to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies to sanitize everything. Staff was nice but the owner needs to update the room. They advertise a breakfast buffet that doesn't exist so Expedia falsely adverted. Was very disappointed. I like that it's close to so much. This could easy be a 4 star stay if they just had a cleaner couch and the breakfast that was shown in the pictures. I literally filtered my search criteria for one thing and it was breakfast. That was the only thing I really wanted and Expedia dropped the ball.

You could tell this place was very nice once...I hope the wonderful staff get a chance to return this place to a usable suite stay again.

The staff was amazing- we interacted with 4 different people at different times and all were unusually friendly. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. The suite was nice. It’s not a luxury hotel but it was fine for a night while in town for a Guardians game at a very reasonable price compared to others around. The surrounding area is safe with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The pool and hot tub were out of commission. We didn’t care but could be disappointing for some. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Better than the other hotel

encountered any hotel room as disgusting as the Sonesta Suites in Westlake, Ohio. Below is a list of the major deficiencies that I found in my room Toilet bowl was loosely connected to floor & rocked when you sat down No toilet paper hanger No bar on the towel rack The floor in the bathroom and bathtub was not clean. It had hair and dirt Sink in bathroom empties extremely slow One queen bed had a comforter & sheet and the other queen had just two sheets The room AC did not work so they installed a temporary inside AC that was effective but noisy They vented the inside AC to a window that had a long crack. The crack was covered with blue masking tape Dishes were left inside the washer. Some of the utensils were very dirty The kitchen sink faucet would not turn on until you used extreme force. On the internet it advertised free breakfast. The manager said that after covid they stopped serving breakfast. In the parking lot by our room a sign stated the we were staying in a gold/premium room. Obviously not true. At check in they never told us that during our 3 day stay there would not be any room cleaning service Had to go to office to get fresh towels If this hotel is a representation of the other chain hotels I will never evebook them i

Unique suites at a very reasonable price.

Extra lock on door broken. Sliding door lock broken. Stick was there. Carpet needs replacing.
