Wyndham Garden Westlake

Mold in my bathroom . Found out the next morning and jest left a day early and didn’t finish my stay.

There were dead bugs in my bed and the comforter smelled like sweat. The bathtub/shower had hair on the shower curtain and there was long hair and pubic hair in multiple places in the shower and on the floor. There was also dried pee on the floor in front of the toilet.

I think they need more help at the front desk for such a large hotel.

The property was nice on the inside and outside, but the rooms were disgusting. I will upload some pictures. But we found a used bar of soap in the shower, peeling wallpaper. We found feathers from a feather boa in the couch and under the couch found popcorn under the TV and the bad appeared to be. Made but not fresh linens. Fortunately, we had blankets in the car we brought in.

My room was super dirty and looked like literally the worst room in the place. No remote for the tv. Room was next to the storage closet and laundry room. Long strands of red her all over the sink. Tissue container didn’t look like it had been cleaned off in years. Dust everywhere. The room looked like it had been abandoned. I took pictures.

It’s a great stay, my kids enjoyed it. I would make the water in the shower a little hotter.

The property is poorly maintained and dated. Wallpaper pealing off the wall in numerous places. My room had dead bugs and cob webs in the window sill. One of the sun shades was shredded from sun rot. There was only one small piece of soap in the washbasin, and no soap or shampoo in the bathtub/shower. I called the front desk to get soap and shampoo and they told me that I could come to the front desk to get it. I had just walked in and my room was on the farthest corridor of the hotel. I told them that I was not walking all the way back down a that they needed to send a staff member up yo my room to bring it. I stayed four nights )Thursday through Monday). There were screws in the wall in my room where a dressing mirror had been hanging, but no mirror! I received maid service one night. When I came back to my room, there the bed had not been made and the in-room coffee had not been replenishes It had also not been replenished from whoever had last stayed in the room. I requested maid service at the front desk when I was out on the Saturday. I heard the front desk radio housekeeping. When I came back to my room later in the evening the room had not been cleaned, there was no in-room coffee, nor cream and sugar packets, and bathroom towels were still on the floor. I received maid service for only one day of a four night stay. It is my first and LAST stay at this hotel! I give this it grade of F.

The rooms were moldy smelling, and the drain didn’t drain very well. We also had to switch rooms because our first room of the air-conditioning didn’t work. We had to call maintenance to come and fix our drain. Otherwise we were gonna have to change rooms again. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting towels to us as housekeeping never came. After a few days.

I don’t know if being on the fifth floor was the problem, but our toilet did not flush well. It was kind of intermittent sometimes to flush twice the shower in my room by 50. What’s the free? It was very difficult during the shower because she had to be inside the shower, the water or not. Kind of weird cause the water would be cold necessarily.

I’m requesting a full refund please this place was filthy and dirty and the towel racks were broke and fell on my foot in the bathroom very dangerous.

The place was nasty and the bed had red stains, the pillows had yellow stains on them all on sheets. The towel racks fell on my foot, and they were broken in every room they tried to upgrade me on, along with other defective items. Very disappointed in this stay.

The hotel did not make up my friend's room that I booked for him for 5 days and 4 nights, no service whatsoever. We spoke to the front desk 3 times, and no service. The hotel property itself was dirsy and unkempt. The staff were not helpful, but they were friendly at least. I was surprised at this because I have stayed in Wynham hotels before. This property is a dump and I advise anyone to avoid it. They said that they would credit my card for one night, but so far, I have seen nothing and had to reach out to Expedia.

We had to ask at the front desk to have our trash empties. Had to ask housekeeping in the hallway for more shower gel. No mattress pad on the bed and the bottom sheet kept falling off. No milk for the complimentary coffee

Room we were assigned had a strong mold odor. We were given another room which had bed bugs. We decided not to stay. The staff was courteous and told us the charge would be backed off but apparently that hasn't happened.

Discarding garbage and towlels in the hallway, door locks badly damaged and non-functional in some cases. Key card did not work on pool side of the room. Staff did nothing to fix it. Had to ask for more towels more than once to get them. Kind of warm all around. Room AC had to run all night and was loud. Lots of worn, old carpet throughout the hotel. Smelled like weed. Hot tub had water shooting up all over. Pool looked nice but didn’t go in. Breakfast buffet was okay at a fair price. Overall a nice idea, but has not been maintained well and staff did as little as possible to clean, maintain or help anyone.

There was black mold on our bathroom. The pool was gross. You couldn’t see through the water to the bottom. Our room ac didn’t work- we walked in and it was 77 degrees. The ac barely brought it down to 72. DO NOT STAY HERE

Very convenient and professional staff.I feel the maintenance was somewhat lacking.
