Wyndham Garden Westlake

Absolutely the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was filthy. Food on the floor and between the bed. Hair on the bed. Shower with hair and pubes on toilet. I wanted to vomit. I checked out immediately and got a nice hotel downtown. This hotel was in shambles and so disgusting. I cannot even begin.

Just went here to get out the house and take advantage of the pool. The poolside rooms were really quite cute and plan to be back with the kids soon

This was horrible, very dirty mold on the walls in the room, had to immediately check for bed bugs because of the blood stains on the sheets. Do not recommend

It is a very beautiful and luxurious hotel, but it was incredibly dirty; they don't clean well, and the air conditioning units were broken. I had to change rooms three times—first because of the dirt, and then because of the faulty AC. The receptionist was excellent; I have no complaints about her service, and she helped us a great deal—I don't recall her name, but she was wonderful. There were no towels at the pool, though I can't really blame the staff for that, as there were so many people using the pool and throwing towels on the ground. This hotel has so much potential because it is beautiful; it is just a matter of ensuring employees do their jobs properly and double-checking the cleanliness of the rooms.

If there was a star rating for “sketchy” this place would get it. Multiple unrelated issues added up to come to my conclusion, not limited to but including: Seven police officers were on sight when I checked-in speaking in hushed tones to one guest in the lobby. When I got to my room the entry and bathroom hard floors were slick with residue from poor cleaning. I received no housekeeping for my 5 day stay, no fresh towels, no bed made, I could tell no one came or went because only my shoe tread was visible in the slick floors which was nice because the in-room safe was locked by a prior guest and was deemed unusable by the facility manager on staff because the master key they had didn’t open it either. There was a “guest” who was posted outside of a particular room on the first floor by the back entrance for multiple nights of my stay. One morning I got on the elevator and an insistent man made several inquiries to my own stay and offered to swing by my room later to “party” with his girl. I politely declined and kept a wide berth from whatever was going on there. Still, the place was sold out for the weekend. Multiple families & large groups of children seemed to be in town for some event I was unaware of. The pool was always in use and the lobby bar had patrons most hours of the day. Next time, I’ll likely try one of the many other hotels in the vicinity.

I would stay again because of the great rate. This hotel is old but still nice enough to stay in. There were some issues with bedding left in the hallway & some guest trash outside the door due to a housekeeper quiting mid-shift. So that was something they couldn't control. As far as our room it was clean. The beds were comfortable & they have some really nice hot water. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants & highway.

First of all my pre paid room was given to a different person . I was given a different room after a hour the staff and the manager were clueless and blaming each other . The air conditioning did not go below 80 again clueless staff . The hotel needs a complete overhaul of management.

The pool was cold too small and too many people, the bathroom in the room sucked,

When I checked in and got to my room, I noticed that the bed was not made up, I then went into the bathroom and found towels on the floor. This room had not been cleaned at all! Got into a new room, next morning speaking with housekeeping, I find that there is a huge lack of communication and that she was not surprised by me being placed in the room uncleared. No continental breakfast at all.

No air conditioning in hallways and it was over 100 degrees outside. Elevator close to room was inoperable

The staff was not very helpful

The only waste basket was in the bathroom and it was tiny. No clean towels after the day we arrived. The garbage can outside the door was overflowing.

We booked and the room wasn't cleaned. They gave us key cards and waiting till the room was cleaned. Came back hours later to find someone sleeping in our room. Worst experience ever. Left the hotel around 11:30 after getting confirmed refund. I wont not stay here.

Upon arriving for check-in the hotel staff (assistant general manager) spoke to the many people in line waiting stating they did not have clean rooms for us. That we needed to remain in line for a refund. I waited in line 45 minutes to which I still have not received a refund. We did not stay at this hotel because of the situation
