Extremely dissatisfied. The room had a HORRIBLE SMELL, sheets were stained, so much so that we used our beach blankets to wrap around the pillow cases, unable to control the temp of the water in the shower, pool was green, asked the front desk for suggestions on areas we could go for dinner, he simply said "I don't know" That is a reasonable question to ask the front desk at a hotel when travelling, Luckily we were only spending the night as we traveled elsewhere, if not we would have not stayed. We had been traveling for several hours and planned ahead of time to have this be a resting area in Williamsburg. The front desk advised us that there was an 11am checkout. At 10am a man knocked on our door asking if we were checking out. Felt this was very inappropriate, I literally had to answer the door while brushing my teeth as he was persistent. Didn't dare walk barefoot. The cost savings was not significant enough to justify the poor condition of the motel.

Room was ok. Smelled like pot smoke in the bathroom. When we got in, there was water in front of the refrigerator. Manager came in to clean it and said a maid must have defrosted it and it left water. Floor looked clean, but my feet were very dirty from walking on the floor.

The room had a musty smell. We had to ask to switch rooms. We switched, and the smell was even worse in that room. We got air freshener from the front desk. Everything just seemed old. Pool was dirty and very small. The hotel is in good distance to Busch gardens and water country. Very close to colonial Williamsburg. The place kind of skeeved me. I would not stay again

I stayed at this property before and was much better last time versus this go round. I always clean the room with bleach and Lysol and I travel with my own sheet sets. The duvet they had on 1 bed was full of hair. Also water kept going from hot to cold in the shower. Not fat from Busch Gardens but just spend the money to stay at a better place

It was bearable, especially for the price, but the pillows were awful, and the mini-fridge was absolutely disgusting. The shelves were covered in some sort of nasty, slimy, greasy substance... Despite being the lowest-priced hotel available in Williamsburg at this time, it isn't even worth the price; I've stayed in $30/night hotels and motels that were cleaner and better than this one.

Quiet & pleasant & clean...

Was disappointed that the Continental breakfast was closed.

The property is not kept up. Knobs on the shower were skewed, shower mode was the only way to run the water, the pool was large enough for only a few people, surrounded by junk (unless i missed the real pool) and the lobby was a mess. Broken and ripped up chair and dirty walls. Definitely needs attention.

Staff was nice though and the price was decent.
-
Room was comfortable and spacious. Restaurants and grocery stores close by. it wasn't the cleanest room. Felt dirty walking around with shoes and the shower was not good.
-
Clean and sanitized rooms, very safe, helpful owner, good parking
-
The room was clean. Staff helpful. Parking was convenient. Location worked out well for us.
-
Property not as well kept as suggested by the reviews. Outdoor area and lobby old looking with some areas needing attention. Room, bed was clean but room was basic, nice to have a microwave and refrigerator. Look and feel did not match the reviews.

helpful when ice machine went out of order!!!!!

Parking was easy, staff were kind, room was not cleaned thoroughly (food on the floor, smudges on mirror, stains on bedspread, stray hair on bath towel). While the owners are clearly trying to upgrade the place (new marble countertops/shower walls, new carpeting) there was much left to be desired as mid-range hotel rooms go.
-
A nice stay for the price. The pool is small but clean and a great amenity to have during our stay. Clean rooms, but hot water was inconsistent in the shower. Overall a good stay. We would stay here again.

They canceled my reservstion due to renovations
-
Enjoyed my stay and the place was quiet. Clean room and friendly staff.
-
Avoid at all cost. We ended up staying the night elsewhere, after the first night, because of how disgusting the room was.
-
Towels were clean and smelled nice.
