The room was clean, AC worked great, staff was friendly, and the hotel location is top notch a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg, in fact with in walking distance, if you don’t mind the exercise, and a short drive to Busch Gardens. The only issue we had was that we were on the top floor on the far end of the hotel and there’s only one elevator and it was on the other end.

Room minimally clean,ROACHES! Shaded parking+, not what expected from Wyndem affiliation

Bugs. Roaches and bed bugs. Not many, but they made their presence known. Huge gaps around door. At least the locks worked. No water pressure in toilet, barely flushed. Carpet was dirty, as evidenced by the way my feet looked this morning after taking a shower last night and carefully scrubbing my feet.

The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. The TV produced a message stating that the streaming contract was expired so there was nothing available to watch. The internet worked only part time. Trash was overflowing from the outside receptacles. There was no coffee machine in the room. There was coffee available in the lobby but it didn’t open until 7 AM and we were up at 6 AM. The elevator made a grinding noise as it operated. Will not return.

The room was clean, but mold stains on the bathroom ceiling, hole in the bathroom door as if someone had punched it, musty damp room, food from a previous guest in the refrigerator and generally run down appearance were off-putting. It does appear they are renovating, though.

I was not overly impressed that my children found casings of guns on the floor while they were playing.

Front desk attendant gave me a hard time trying to check in with my reservation

Rooms were old, falling apart, dirty and disgusting

I have stayed here before and it was ok. But my last experience was horrible. I left all my bags in my car because roaches were literally falling off the ceiling! I would have left but I knew i couldn't get my money back. I literally had to go buy roach spray!!

Front staff was very nice Peeling paint off the ceiling, room smelled musty, the sink leaked and kept floor soaked, roaches were everywhere, wifi was slow testing barley worked took several minutes to get something to play and we had a naked lady screaming outside our room at 2:30 in the morning waking my kids up.

Enjoyed my stay. Would recommend for a cheap stay

There wasn't much I liked here, but you get what you pay for so we did not have high expectations. The cockroach in our room, the cigarette burns and mystery stains on the comforter, the uncomfortable bed, there was trash and boxes everywhere and the "breakfast provided" did not exist.

There was a major remodel going on but my room was quiet, and clean. I was pleased to find a large apartment sized refrigerator freezer in the room instead of the typical dorm size. There was an elevator which is a must for me if more than 1 floor. They advised breakfast but there was nothing but coffee, this is the only thing I ding them about. Convenient to restaurants though.

I like the comfortable bed, and the room size, the big flat screen TV, Wi-Fi connection, the room temperature, the refrigerator size and microwave, plus the location is closer to my new job. The bathroom is a tight space with just a full shower with bathtub and a toilet. The bathroom sink is next to it, on the other side of the door in a small open space, which has an open closet type rack to hang up your clothes.

Nothing the staff was rude

Take care of all the minor issues and maybe we'll return.
