Parking was plentiful and slept well in bed. Close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg

The guy at the front desk was super nice and helpful-I think his name was Shawn. The pool area was nice. Thats about all the good I have to say about this place. The location was ok, wasnt in a bad area necessarily but we did hear a lot of sirens that evening and late in the night, we heard a couple fighting and screaming at each other. I believe there are people who live there all the time. I was under the impression we would get a rather large room with two queen beds and a couch (based on hotel website pictures) Our first room was one king bed and a couch. We have kids-that wasnt going to work. We ended up getting a room with two beds and a chair. This complicated our sleeping arrangements a little but we made it work. It was a super cramped room, and needed a good deep clean. The beds were hard and while I can overlook a hard bed for a one night stay, cleanliness shouldnt be optional. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. There was a nasty stain on one bed ruffle. Some dirty stains on one of the headboards, nasty spots in the bathroom, dead bugs in the bathroom windowsill. The bathroom looked like something in my grandmas house-needs updated but I can overlook that if its just clean. Please clean your rooms!!

The room its self was quite cute, however the amount of dust in there was a bit of a joke. All above the bed and surfaces. We cleaned the air con filter because it was just full of junk. I feel bad for the main staff member on reception because he was lovely however there was one member of staff called Ray with an absolute power complex. After a long day I came back and parked outside of my room, in the evening Ray decided to come and bang on the door. Once I had opened it he did not introduce himself or tell me that he worked for the hotel. He asked about our cars and began to have a go at me about parking in a spot I supposedly shouldn't have. I say supposedly because was there a sign or markings that said "no parking"? Absolutely not. My previous review was not submitted due to the language I had used about said staff member so I will let you draw your own conclusion on what I called this man. In summary there are lots of hotels in this area, I would recommend you choose somewhere else.

Room was mostly clean. Mattress was poor quality, pillows were basically flat. Guy at the front desk in the late evening had a bit of a smart mouth. Fine for a cheap motel.

Clean quiet and close to all the historic sites

The property overall was also clean but needed repairs. The pool was small but looked nice. Great location and price.

The person working as the night auditor or 3rd shift clerk was very rude. We called to let him know it would be a late check in, nowhere on the site does it say check in ends at a certain time, but when I got there I rang the bell & he said “You don’t have to ring the bell the door wasn’t locked,” and then said “I’m obviously going to be here when you called to say you were going to be 15 minutes late”. Just rude, The gentleman in the morning for checkout was great, though.

Quiet. Great location, short walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and many good restaurant options including a breakfast/lunch restaurant next door to the property. Traditional one-story type motel with all rooms accessible from the exterior and with the parking spaces to your room directly in front of your door. An additional wooden shutter screen door is in front of your room door so you can let in fresh air with the door open and still maintain privacy. Have stayed there many times over the years and have never had a serious issue, and when an issue has occured the staff has been quick to resolve it.

Not recommended. No TV channels, no breakfast, I paid extra for the best room and they gave me the worst. I don't know who could have given them a good rating.

Beautiful location but very disappointed with the clerk. My card was charged multiple times and he was extremely annoying at check in.. it was late and I was in no mood for his jokes… especially about charging me for ice, not signing etc… my card went through and then he said it didn’t and swiped again. I have 4 charges for 1 night. Other than that the room was great

Staff great, the rooms needs alot of help. Tub wouldn't drain. No hot water at first. Place needs a total up grade. The pool didn't open till noon!!!! Very quite and close to every thing we needed to go. But will not stay there again.
