Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites, an official Colonial Williamsburg Hotel

The pool was lovely and the room was spacious.

The eating area was ok. AC wasn’t working so it made breakfast too hot do enjoy.

This hotel is very convenient (walking distance) to Colonial Williamsburg and the visitor's center is next door. The room was nothing special but worked out well, was large, quiet and clean. The biggest issue we had was that it was almost impossible to figure out where to find the lobby when we arrived! We drove all around and could not figure out how to get in. This hotel is actually a number of separate buildings, and you need a keycard to get in any building. We finally drove around till we saw a door (still not the right side to park in) but at least made it to the lobby. We heard others complaining about the same thing. Seems like it would be simple for them to add more signage to point you to where you should park to check in.

It is worth staying here if you are going to Colonial Williamsburg. The hotel parking lot is essentially the visitors' center parking lot, and the hotel gives you a pass to park for free. They also give you a coupon for a discount on tickets to Colonial Williamsburg. I loved the huge (Olympic-sized?) pool in the evenings. Breakfasts were plentiful. There was some trouble calling the hotel initially (all phone calls would cut off after 14 seconds) and the hotel responding to the link given by Expedia. Hopefully they have that fixed.

Area We were charged hidden fees that booking doesn't tell you. Its 32.50 a day you pay for accidental, you get that back in 10 days. They run your card 1 night at time. Charging more fees. You may get a deal through booking at the time but the bottom line is. It's the same price if you just do it through the hotel itself.

Location, price, people. The windows can be opened somewhat, which is nice The room was very clean and the maids cleaned it well every day, but it still smelled like dog

Clean and homely. Lights in the parking lot.

The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and the place was clean. The also had games to play for everyone. Great place to stay if going to Busch gardens.
