All the included amenities and proximity to the historic district I didn’t like that it was very hard to reach someone by calling the hotel directly. And they absolutely need to tell those with young kids directly that the splash pad closes at dusk and you must press a button in order to start the water if it’s off.

Location to Colonial Williamsburg. Literally a short walk.

The breakfast wasn’t to my liking. I think they could have had a little more … I did see any meats all. More foods should be incorporated. I truly enjoyed my stay there, however, I think the bathroom needs to be up graded!….the bathtub water did not drain well at all it appears to be a back up somewhere. Other than that it was a pleasant stay! Thank you for serving us!

Clean rooms great for families

It’s a dated place with too many rooms for the small amount of amenities. The bed was not comfortable and the pull out couch was awful. The bars were felt and the mattress so old. The food was basic and coffee not great. We will not be returning. The staff were delightful.

Despite what Expedia advertises there is no shuttle to Busch Gardens and no “game room”. These are two of the main reasons we booked here and neither were accurate. Front desk staff didn’t answer phone from rooms. You had to call from outside line on you cell or walk to front desk. I heard several others say the same thing. Rooms were tiny and gross - whole hotel severely outdated. We ended up cancelling the remainder of our stay and moving to a nicer hotel closer to theme park and other things. 0/10 don’t recommend.

Traveling cross country this was one of my favorite overnights and right across from the Williamsburg Visitors Center. Perfect. Don’t be fooled by “continental breakfast.” It was so much more and, more importantly, the coffee was excellent. Not something I can say at other stops. The staff is amazing. Answering my multiple questions that they’ve probably answered a thousand times before. And if you’re interested, a bottle of wine or a six pack of beer is available, if you ask at the front desk - for sale, of course, and excellent local beer. Room was very clean & decor very Colonial Williamsburg. Exceptional.

The property was very nice, but we didn’t use the amenities, the staff did what was expected, and friendly, but we didn’t interact with them, except the front desk both ends of our stay. The room had a chair that was ripped, still usable, and the bed was lumpy, again usable.
