Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites, an official Colonial Williamsburg Hotel

Exceptional

Easy to get lost because elevators are down hall and around corner from lobby. Turn wrong way getting off elevator and you are going farther away from lobby instead of toward it Breakfast was fantastic with different hot entrees like cheese or western mini omelettes with turkey or pork sausage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean and maintained historic property. So convenient to Visitor Center and shuttle bus to Colonial Williamsburg grounds. Also quick drive into town for evening entertainment and restaurants. Definitely the best place to stay.

The location Nothing

This is the second time I've stayed at this location. I think this is my family's to go to place when coming ti visit Williamsburg.

Nice hotel with certain charming. The town museum Colonial Williamsburg located right next to the hotel makes it nice stop for 2-3 days. It is dog-friendly, but not all rooms available for the pets. You need to let them know during or after the reservation that you are coming with a dog.

Liked everything about the property. The area is beautiful, the rooms were well appointed, bed was very comfortable and the stall was amazing.

Room was spacious and comfortable but not luxiorous. The grounds were going through renovation which was good since it appeared an older facility with dated appearence . Breakfast was very good and staff attentive.

The property is in a beautiful setting and very close to Colonial Williamsburg. The staff were excellent. The room was nice with a living room, kitchen area across from the bathroom, then a bedroom with a door, which was nice. There was a tv in the living area and the bedroom. And it was clean. Other areas of the hotel weren't horrible, but could definitely be cleaner and use some upgrades. The continental breakfast was okay, but not the best we have had in other hotels. We were charged a resort fee for each night we stayed there, but unfortunately the swimming pool and splash park were closed for renovation. This should have been listed as closed on their website. We never did find a putt-putt course, but it must be there somewhere. So the resort fee was really charged for nothing we could use.

Great location to downtown Williamsburg Beds were small.

The Woodlands Hotel is a great place to stay...close the the visitors center. Breakfast was well maintained and as far as coffee goes at hotels, this was pretty good. I recommend staying at the Woodlands Hotel when you come to Colonial Williamsburg

The room size is very comfortable. No restaurants on site. But complementary breakfast was good . Convenience to Colonial Williamsburg can't be beat

Really enjoyed our stay - it was only for a few days - but we felt well cared for and had excellent service along the way.

Good hotel, more updated and large suites well laid out. Perfect if you have a car as not walkable to CW.
