The rooms were super clean and my big thing is the carpet in the rooms some our just nasty but these floors were really clean and nice and the staff was real nice

I was very surprised and impressed with the condition of the property. It appears to have been renovated in recent years/months and it was well maintained. My room was clean, very well appointed and accommodating. It is conveniently located near Wake Forrest Baptist Hospital which was the purpose for my visit. The king bed was very comfortable. The staff all were very friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend this facility. Can’t think of anything.

Perfectly clean well maintained rooms. A wonderful stay with nice beds and towels. Can’t ask for more.

Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the pool. Bed was too soft and 4 pillows were small and very flat for a king bed.

Definitely didn’t live up to the pictures. But room was clean. Beds were comfortable but pillows were flat. Trash sat outside rooms in the halls for days. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some sketchy people around at night. The pool looked awesome but we didn’t have time to enjoy it Didn’t eat breakfast so idk what it was like. Don’t think I’d stay here again.

Hotel is not smoke free a lot of marijuana and a lot of cigarettes and rooms so if you do want a smoke free room good luck the room that we had said it was smoke-free but you can tell people smoke in it that day, but it was super clean the hotel pool was clean and it felt good. The breakfast was not worth $10 is your typical hotel breakfast that’s usually free at a Hilton Garden Inn or the country and suites but she will not find any kind of staff anywhere else. They have great snacks and a good prices, but I do wish they wouldn’t allow smoking in the rooms. If we go back to Winston-Salem, we will definitely stay there again, but I will make sure that I tell them that the room has to be smoke free. Maybe they need to put an air purifier after every guest if they smoke and tried to hefty fee!

Very nice staff. Safe property if you're traveling solo. Comfortable rooms with laundry on-site if you need to wash a few things if you didn't pack enough. Would recommend for business travel or families. My only complaint is internet speed.

The Hawthorne was nice, clean, convenient, the staff was friendly and it all and all met my needs. The Hotel was a little dated, but they have obviously worked to keep things up to date. I would definitely stay here again.

Great bargain. Old salem village behind it. Short walk underpass to baseball stadium. Pool had chlorine. Only problems were that some of the others at this price point had bad habits and the wifi wasn't as described. They said one log in option with password. I saw 2 and it just logged me in without password. I didnt feel that was safe. Front desk was not aware of what to do.
