The property is being sold and they could not contact us to tell us because we booked with Expedia!

terrible! I left within an hour lost money but worth it. I tried to get refund. This place is example of what should NOT be listed on expedia! As platinum member for years I know quality expedia gives. This is false advertised! No functional airconditioning. Do not move shower head.

Very cool experience, and everything was very comfortable. Sherrie was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious! Nothing

We had an amazing stay! We enjoyed our room and getting to be in Old Salem. It is quiet and peaceful; with very easy walking access to the whole neighborhood. The residents in Old Salem are kind and friendly. Sherrie Gordon the manager made our stay unforgettable! We were sitting at breakfast together and telling stories like we had known each other for years. Would definitely return here, especially if Sherrie is still managing the place!

Beautiful historic inn. Very comfortable in a beautiful location

Breakfast was delicious - far better than the dry eggs you get at most hotel breakfasts. The location was great - steps from a coffee shop and generally in a quiet setting. My only minor nit is that it was difficult to reach an outlet to plug in a phone charger. I would suggest placing an extension cord that could reach up to a bedside table.

Breakfast was delicious! The dining room was very cheerful and warm. The home's location was great and we enjoyed walking around Old Salem and taking in the local Famers Market and restaurant nearby. Because the spring pollen was just finishing, there was dust and debris all over the porches and outdoor sitting areas. It would have been nice to sit and enjoy the lovely weather if they had been cleaned up.

The hostess was very helpful and nice. She was very informative about the house and the area. She is definitely why I would come back there to stay.

Breakfast was delicious, hostess was very friendly, location was great! The room was on the third floor. The stairs were hard to manage because they were steep and narrow but we chose a room with two beds. The room was hot so we opened windows to cool it down and used two fans. The shower had a high wall to step into. Booking should mention these features for people over 65 or with mobility issues.

Sherie made an excellent breakfast. She also gave us a little history on the property. Location is excellent. The room was nice, bed was comfortable. We are in town frequently and will definitely be back. There is really nothing I can say negative about our stay. It’s a historic property so there were some things that were broken, but nothing serious.

Sherry’s hospitality was wonderful and Old Salem was very special!

We stayed the week before Christmas in a lovely room with fireplace. The house exuded holiday charm and history. Breakfast is beautifully presented and excellent. Our bed was comfortable. We had chairs to relax by the fire. While the bathroom was tiny, it was functional with enough space to put toiletries plus multiple hooks and towel bars. The inn is in the old Salem village so you are surrounded with history. The innkeeper,Cherie, will guide you to excellent restaurants and attractions in the area. We highly recommend this inn.

Great breakfast - innkeeper gave great suggestions for things to do in the area.
-
We made reservations and when we got to the Inn they refused to allow us to stay. Prejudice! It was inhumane.
-
Bed’s are a bit firm but not a deterrent.
