Best Western Plus New Englander

The front desk person was super nice and helpful. The room was very clean and breakfast was included. The location is great, right near the highway so a quick uber trip into Boston. It's right next to a great restaurant which was great to have a late night snack. All in all, a great value for the money.

The hotel is Ok. It’s a bit old and a bit worn. The room was small and the bathroom was tight. The bed had the awful half size pillows and the A/C was loud. But it was very clean and reasonably comfortable. Restaurant next door was great and only a minute’s walk. But what I will give the property a big plus for was the front desk staff. Check in was quick and courteous. Very friendly. We had a minor problem with the room(cigarette smell) which the desk fixed immediately and was incredibly apologetic. These things happen and we immediately got a new room. But the fact that she took it so personally that we weren’t happy really stood out. Kudos to your staff! Problems happen but how you fix them makes all the difference.

This is a very dated hotel and the upkeep on it is terrible: -bed sheets were dirty and worn through -squished spider on the ceiling -mold on lampshades/rust on lamp fixture -peeling paint on bathroom ceiling -wobbly toilet seat Only stayed one night 'luckily' for us our second night was cancelled due a minor family emergency we had to return back home for. Simply put, do not stay here unless/unitl it gets redone.

Clean room, helpful staff, and a yummy breakfast buffet.

Room was decent. Water spots on the ceilings and strong odors in the hallways. Plumbing also seemed to be an issue. Toilets didn’t want to flush properly and the showers and sinks had trouble draining. Breakfast was good and bed was comfortable.

Shared microwave was kinda lame but it was never busy.

We were visiting from San Diego on a road trip after several hours of driving would decide to stay at this hotel made a mistake on the booking. I called Expedia to see if they can help me out with the booking. They said the hotel needed to approve the refund, hotel never approved it. They charged me for the day and I didn’t stay not even a partial refund, called Expedia again and they couldn’t help me either so I ended up booking another hotel in another city. Very bad customer service understood it was my fault, but they couldn’t do anything for me at all.

Unfortunately, our stay was seriously affected by major room assignment and communication issues. We booked two rooms for our family, but there was confusion at check-in about which rooms we were supposed to receive. Later that night, while my family was sleeping, someone attempted to enter our occupied room. My wife had to get up and answer the door while our children were in the room. Afterward, hotel staff questioned why we were in that room, even though it was the room assigned to us. The General Manager did apologize afterward and acknowledged the problems, but the experience was extremely stressful. A hotel’s most important job is providing guests with a safe and reliable place to sleep and unfortunately that was the area where this stay failed the most. The property itself was clean and had good amenities but the room assignment issues and the privacy/security concern had a major impact on our stay.

The doors to each room are so bloody loud… and no one really cares about letting them slam. Listened to people slam doors and shout down the hallway until after midnight and then it started again around 0545.

What I would expect for the price. Nothing amazing, but nothing that bad to bother complaining about. Overall it was clean and comfortable for a two night stay. Of course it's a bit outdated, but nothing out of my expectations. Staff was nice.

Overall the property is very clean. A little out of dated. Because of the carpet the room had a very strong dirty stinky smell as soon as you open the room. The bed was a little uncomfortable had to sleep feet to head because the to the head oard side the bed is sinking. The room is missing a microwave and hair dryer , the tv did not worked and they couldn’t say why or came to check it out. The cool part was the indoor pool and that it had a shallow area for kids , the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is okay not much variety every day. We stayed for 2 nights
