Staff was helpful and nice. Property could use an overall refresh. Don't expect quiet-location is right near a major intersection with almost contant traffic, and some kind of truck depot next door

My room was so noisy. Pipes, outside noise, highway, upstairs guests, air conditioner, running toilet. Non-stop noise at night....

Overall hotel itself was nice, it was either new or had been recently updated and appeared to be clean and well kept. However, the location is kind of a PIA to access. The road out front is a "divided" highway, so you can only enter from the south and exit to the north, with no decently acceptable/close "turn arounds" to change direction to enter the hotel. There is also nothing in walking distance (stores, restaurants, etc.), so you have to drive. Neither are deal breakers, and I would stay here again, but does take down my rating some, and likely would prefer to try a different hotel in the area that is more accessible should I stay in York again.

Booked this hotel since the Comfort Inn in Columbia was HORRIBLE. The staff was accommodating and welcoming, and the suite was perfect after a disappointing experience at another hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms every time! I travel to PA quite a bit to see my family and we always stay with the friendly folks at Candlewood! Plenty of space to work for the room if need be and the WiFi is terrific...couldn't ask for a better combination!

we arrived late at night and the night clerk, a woman, was super helpful and friendly. room was very nice and had alot of room. could have had better pillows but all in all it was ok.

I called several times to inform the hotel that I would be there for my reservation but I would be late check in and then my flight was delayed so I called again to confirm I would still be there but around 2 am and they assured me several times that it was ok. The date on my room got changed so they sold my room so when I got there at 2am I had no room or place to sleep had to book a room for the night somewhere else at 2am that was extremely frustrating and were rude to me. Luckily Expedia refunded me the money for that night. The rest the stay was good. Room was clean hotel was clean and nice and I’m very picky.

My room had a ice maker that didn't work then the ice machine wasn't working that they had in the lobby, plus the prices for just a bottle of water they had a $6 and was never told about it till I saw the receipt when I left, got 2 water bottles when I was there so that's $12 for 2 bottles of water. Definitely overpriced for water

Clean rooms though properly is old and rooms had old furniture
