La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport

The room itself was OK just like the rest of the hotel. The sheets were surprisingly clean. I did check for bedbugs and other things.l, luckily I didn’t find any. I was happy to see that there were no weird stains or anything on the sheets as well. But the pillows were awful. The mattress felt like it was tilted so I felt like I was sliding off all night long and the room just had a very perfumy funk to it. Breakfast was included and it was OK. Needless to say, the entire experience was OK. if OK is OK with you then you will feel right at home.

The room was awful. Mold all over the bathroom, on the lampshades, on the walls. Trash piled outside a room in the hall for more than 24 hours. Ice machine broken sketchy parking lot. Blood specks on the sheets!!

Our room clearly had not been cleaned. There was blood on the sheets and pillow cases, dead bugs on the floor, and a used soap bar in the shower. The room also smelled like mildew. There was mold growing around the seams in the tub. Overall the room was disgusting. Front desk staff were nice but the hotel in general smells like smoke and is in disrepair

The staff was helpful and informative, rooms were extra clean and fresh upon arrival

The room freaked of mold the second we walked in. It was visible on the walls. When I asked for a new room, the guy at the front desk was rude about it. Then was supposedly only able to accommodate us on a floor where my family of 5, including a toddler and an infant had to climb a flight of stairs with all of our luggage.

The service was excellent.

Room has a humidity smell…at check in the gentleman was not very friendly but check out girl was very helpful

Shower faucet was constantly dripping. Front pieces on AC unit were hanging off and wouldn’t stay in place. Roaches were crawling around the room at night, absolutely disgusting to wake up to and avoid stepping on them. Elevators were broken, so we had to climb up the stairs to the 5th floor. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone

The elevator was broken and they gave us a room on the 5th floor nobody offered to help with all of our luggage which us heavy.

Staff was amazing. Helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We plan to stay there again

What a great location being by the airport and walking distance to restaurants! But what impressed me the most is the genuine kindness of the staff...always willing to go out of their way to help. Here's one example...I'm on the phone talking to an uber driver b/c my father left his phone in the car and the staff member over hears me saying "let me write down your number" and she goes and grabs me a paper and pen without me asking. Later that day my son arrived and we were waiting in the lobby and he left his backpack full of valuables while we were trying to get the rest of our luggage out of the car. We were frantic looking for it when we were in our room and finally went to check the lobby and a staff member had remembered my son with it on and had held it at the desk. We were so grateful and appreciative for their honesty and helpfulness. What a great team there and again, loved the location!

I was surprised at the accommodations. WELL above what I expected. I'll stay there again!

Very little help from night staff when asked. Breakfast was very limited - no spoons to stir coffee or eat. TV remote not working. Mold on the ceiling. Will definitely not stay there again. The poor rating is being generous.

1) large cockroach crawling past the front desk adjacent to the breakfast buffet. 2) elevator broken so I had to use the service elevator on the opposite side of the hotel and then walk up 2 flights of stairs with my luggage 3) room had strange features such as mounting the toilet paper holder under the vanity in such a fashion that it was tight against the vanity and the toilet paper wouldn’t unroll 4) unidentifiable stain on the sheets my son pointed out 5) functioning elevator had peeling wallpaper and a graffitied display 6) 2 bags of garbage left in the stairwell
