Charles River Inn

It was a little loud between rooms. We could hear people in the next room. Room was large. We put a do not disturb sign out and our room was cleaned anyway.

I stay here often. The staff are super friendly and my room is always immaculately clean and comfortable.

The bed and bedding were clean, but generally the room wasn’t. There were loads of marks/streaks in the wall. Big room. Staff were nice enough.

Great place and really nice staff are first time in Boston and people really made it wonderful. Will be back in August

We had a wonderful stay at the Charles River Inn. The hotel was extremely clean, well-maintained, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was surprisingly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and spread out comfortably. The location was another big plus—close to many attractions, restaurants, and everything we wanted to see while visiting the area. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay, I would definitely recommend the Charles River Inn.

Liked that it was right next to a restaurant & close to near by attractions we were wanting to visit. Nothing to complain about.

The older gentleman at the front desk was just lovely. The hotel was easy to find. Everything was clean. The hotel is older and worn around the edges, but what’s important is clean and allows for a good night sleep.

For the price you get what you pay for. A bed to sleep in and free parking.

This place was horrible. Frankly I can’t believe that it’s on Expedia. It smells awful, the floors are filthy, there’s only blackout curtains- so if you want natural light you get zero privacy, its loud (everyone can hear everyone)… on top of all that the shower in our rooms was leaking. Not just droplets but a stream of water that was loud and soaked everything near it including floor.. meaning it had soaked into the floor and was probably causing damage. After about an hour I went to the front desk and told the manager I wanted my money back or I would call the health department. He reluctantly returned my money (admission of guilt) and i went to a hotel that wasn’t an absolute nightmare. Totally ridiculous waste of time and completely unacceptable and probably illegal conditions.

Clean room and property.

McDonalds and iHOP are right next door! We were able to drive downtown for aquarium and museum of science quickly and easily. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Just right for us! Thank you!

Place is significantly run down. State of property misrepresented. Hugely overpriced.

Had a very nice stay at the Charles River Inn. Friendly staff. They are conveniently located off the main route into Boston and only a 5 min. drive from BU. There is ample parking and a McDonalds and ihop are within walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's an older building, so there is no elevator. Shower water pressure is exceptional. I would stay there again, whenever I'm in Boston.

Have something for breakfast, besides coffee, Even pasteries or muffin s. Something simple

The hotel was clean, the staff were wonderful, highly recommended.
