The Boston Hotel

Our flight was delayed and we ended up arriving in the middle of the night. The gentleman at the front desk was beyond helpful and kind.

It seems busy during the period while I stay in Boston. This hotel I don’t know how to describe my feelings it’s just … horrible. The antiquated electric power made the sparks almost spread out in my face… afterwards then smelt a burning smell. Even though I went to lobby they fixed the issue for me, this experience was unprecedented for me. It just a DISASTER. The first negative review I’ve even given.

Friendly staff excellent location

This just wasn’t a good experience. The room was run down, dirty, and badly in need of an update. The plumbing worked poorly. AC worked poorly and made the whole room seem damp. I expected much better at this price and the way this place was presented online. Disappointed

It’s an older property and I stayed in a back section behind the main building. There were renovations going on in other rooms in this section so it’s probable that this area was getting a facelift. The main building was nice, breakfast was decent enough and the staff was very friendly.

Great Neighborhood location on the Green B line.

The staff were very nice and accommodating but unfortunately the staff could not make up for the hotel.

Needed a place to stay after a Red Sox Game (they won...). Simple, large room - clean and comfortable. Front desk guy was personable and helpful and even offered us home made cookies (a hotel amenity). Our stay was quiet and uneventful (a good thing). Breakfast was amazing and free - eggs, pancakes, sausage english muffins, and more. Shower was a little wonky, but functional. Would stay there again.

Upon our arrival we were sad to learn this hotel was over-sold, however, HAPPILY they promptly rebooked us into their sister property nearby + we had an amazing stay with zero issues. Thank you to the lovely staff @ the Boston Hotel for coming through + delivering on an excellent experience. We appreciate it!!

Not the best. Old building

Great stay. Older property but the cleanliness made up for it

Only 2 nights so room wasn't cleaned but this was acceptable to us. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast basic but fine for our needs

I felt unsafe. I was put in a annex building like some old motel

Good place to sleep, very quiet and property well kept however absolutely needs work and updates. Nothing fancy. Breakfast was great. Ice machine and laundry room were being worked on while we stayed. Not impressed that our rooms were right beside the noise as there were other rooms available. Also we didn't have an electrical outlet in our bathroom and the light was broken but a little jiggle made it work. Little kitchen with hot plate but only 1 spoon available as a utensil..safe and quiet place to stay is all that matters though..

Laundry was down, ice machine was down. They put us beside a unit getting renovated for a week, noise starts at 8am every morning. Will not return.
