Hotel 1200

Staff My bathroom shower curtain rod was hanging with out any screws. Trying to open or move aside the curtain, the whole rod will foul down in the the tub.

The A/C was too cold then when I adjusted it was too warm. Hard to figure out

Nice, clean spacious rooms for NYC, with a fridge and microwave!

Distance from subway We didn’t have housekeeping service in any day of our stay even asking to the receptionist.

Staff were very helpful Refrigerator did not chill enough, and we needed to store sensitive medication. Staff supported by putting in their fridge

Didn’t stay long enough for using all the amenities ,the location is ok. Good for a quick visiting or short stay , price is reasonable and the room is clean.

Overall, the place was clean, and the people staying in the hotel were quiet.

Spent close to a week here, great place and people. The area around is a bit rough, but definitely worth it for a place to stay.

The people at the front desk and in the hotel provided excellent customer service. Hotel was clean. Lots of restaurants nearby offer a variety of food. The hotel is very close to the train, which is great if you’re taking the train. The neighborhood was very loud, although I did feel safe, walking around, even at night.

Right off the J line, easy to travel to anywhere. Near many food options as well. Try as hard as you possibly can to get a room off the first floor

Helpful stuff and spacious room!

After checking in, my kids noticed significant dark spotting/debris on the air vent and discoloration around the vent area in the bedroom. I showed photos to the front desk employee, who said it “might be dirt or mold.” I asked to change rooms but was told none were available. I left my contact information because I was told a manager would follow up. No one called. Uncomfortable keeping my family in the room, we secured another hotel. I initially booked only two replacement nights because I hoped Hotel 1200 would resolve the issue and we could return. That never happened. I called multiple times and left my information. When I finally reached the manager, she said she would investigate and call me back. She also acknowledged she had not previously called because there were no rooms available for us to return to. She never called back. I pursued a refund through Expedia, providing photos and documentation, but Hotel 1200 declined to authorize it. The room issue itself was disappointing, but the lack of resolution was worse: no alternate room, repeated promises of follow-up with no calls, and no refund for the unused stay. The bright spot was the front desk staff, who were kind, empathetic, and apologetic about the lack of management follow-up.

Room was clean and spacious, enough comfortable for a long stay. The staff was great. The only bad thing is the location, we had people playing loud music outside every night.

The front girl Laura who usually works in the evenings was very helpful. The morning young girl was not helpful.

Wonderful clean spacious room with great comfortable bed, a desk with office chair and a huge full length mirror in the foyer. It includes the use of a hairdryer, a steam iron and ironing board, fridge, microwave. Planning to stay there again.

There were several stores and restaurants within walking distance. The room, lobby and fitness center were all very clean. The room and mattress were very comfortable. Parking along the street, homeless in close proximity, and had to move car during street sweeper hours. But such is life in Brooklyn, NY.
