Nice hotel in a great location for exploring Michigan Avenue & the Riverwalk. Room was very spacious & the loft style made it feel like a little apartment. TV didn’t work & we asked for a couple of bathrooms items one night that never showed up, but overall, it was a great stay & we would definitely stay there again.

Check in was great. Everything after that was downhill. Let’s start with the bed bug that crawled across the corner of the bed. If I hadn’t gotten out of bed to check the bug that was on the wall near my son’s bed, I would’ve missed the BED BUG crawling on my bed. I called the front desk immediately. They put us in another room that was so dirty I had to hold back tears. It was 3 am and all I wanted to was sleep after driving five hours. I didn’t see any bed bugs but the sheets had stains, the mattresses had stains, the bathroom tub was disgusting, and it was overall a gross room. I called the front desk again and they said I could speak with a supervisor tomorrow. I asked for a time because we were on vacation so I didn’t want to delay our trip. I was told 10 am. I waited thirty minutes that morning and reached out to Expedia. Expedia tried to contact management at the hotel and were unsuccessful. They opened a case and I made reservations for a different hotel. I checked out that morning and I had to ask to speak to a supervisor who heard me checking out and explaining the situation but did not take it upon herself to intervene. She told me that no one from Expedia reached out to them. I showed her the conversation with Expedia and she said “oh they must’ve asked for a manager and there’s not one here until 3:30”. She said the hotel would launch an investigation and reach out to me. I told her that I showed staff the bed bug in the tissue. I’m still waiting for a call back.

Great location. Reasonably priced. Ease of access to shopping and restaurants.

Kids said the pool was cold and didn't want to go back but it was very clean. Staff were all friendly, greeting you as you came and went and got us extra towels we requested very quickly. Everything felt safe as you have to tap your room key in the elevator to take you to your floor. Good choice of breakfast items made to order for a reasonable cost. ATM on site was convenient Nice seating area downstairs in the lobby.

1) Beware: my wife called my cell 2x from the room phone while I was at Whole Foods picking up a couple of things (her cell phone was charging, so she figured why not). Each call was a minute or less. The hotel charged me $31 and $33 for these calls. They removed the charges after I complained, but it's good to know this type of deceptive billing exists. They also charge "tourist fees" for each night you stay. 2) the decor is HORRENDOUS. The rooms look like they're under construction (the ceiling and wall is cement with seemingly handwritten markers), yet this is deliberate, as the loft theme attempts to reflect the rough buildings typically converted into lofts. It's absolutely HIDEOUS.

had a great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and check-in was quick and easy. The location was convenient, and I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great and the room was overall decent. The room key unlocks the elevator only to the floor of my room and not to other floors. I traveled with friends and it was super annoying to get to each other’s room because we couldn’t get to each other floor. It really made my stay significantly worst - which is a shame because the rest was nice.

Location, courtesy of staff Could use more towels, bar closed early

Location and staff were excellent.. even the valet staff were exceptional. No microwave and no free breakfast. For the price these should be included. Pretty expensive for what you get. The snack area is VERY over priced. You can get the same items just down the street at the store for a third or quarter or the price.
-
The cost was also very high for no continental breakfast.

I liked the location and the size of the room: I’ve stayed at the A lot location Milwaukee downtown I paid my 150 and I haven’t got a refunded for my money
-
I genuinely felt welcomed and felt comfortable being there and enjoyed my stay!

Highly recommend! Great location, friendly staff, & clean spacious rooms.
