The pool situation kind of sucks. Not enough chairs or space and they are crazy about the pool towels. My kid had to get in the elevator dripping and cold bc the towels can’t leave the pool deck.
-
Good location, most staff was friendly, pool was nice, room clean. It was just super congested in the lobby area which was a bit of a nuisance.

I would recommend and stay again.

Two elevators were out of order, it made getting up & down .. take longer.. waiting a lot. But over all we love it at Doubletree.
-
When I made the reservation it said breakfast was included which was why we chose the property, but actually I only got a credit per adult and I was with my two kids so the credit was not sufficient to cover our breakfast.

The outdoor pool and deck area are amazing. An oasis in the city. Some workers have extra towels and some didn’t. I think 1 small towel isn’t enough if you are laying out as the artificial turf and chairs get really hot and some people need more towel to cover where they lay. But that was only a minor inconvenience. Will absolutely stay again!

The pool area has alot of bees got stung from the first hour being there along with 3 other kids. The staff had nothing to treat it and i would say it was not a good experience

This hotel is in a great location downtown. Very walkable area. Parking ramp is attached to the hotel so very easy parking. We ate breakfast at the restaurant/bar area and it was good. Not crazy expensive. Rooms were clean. Elevators are fast and there are enough of them so very short wait times. Even on the 15th floor, the sirens are still pretty loud and woke me several times, but welcome to the city :). Shower water pressure was good. Bed was comfortable. Cost for the hotel was resonable in the area and for what you get for the money.

Won’t be returning. Hotel was always noisy day and night , ambulance sirens all morning . after returning from shopping my bags were stolen/ thrown away by house keeping from out of my room I wasn’t given any clarity on what could have happened just to file a report …..I’d never ever stay here again

It is a great option due to its location accessibility and a very good service at the hotel, great option both for family or business trips.

Hotel tres propre chambre tres propre, le personnel de l'hôtel tous gentil avec le sourire. L'hôtel est tres bien situé près de tout. Je le recommande fortement.

This property was a great location with walking distance to Navy Pier and Riverwalk. Our king room with a city view was everything! The room and hotel were very clean. The pool was perfectly warm and outdoor. The cookies at check-in are delicious and you can actually ask for more during your stay. They had staff that would text and check how your stay was which was nice. The only thing I would say I didn’t like was I wish the rooms had microwaves. They did have one downstairs to use. Other than that the hotel was perfect and we’d definitely stay again.

Our hotel stay was excellent! Our only issue was how slow the elevators were. There were times no mater what time of the day we were waiting 5-10 mins for it to get up to our floor. Other than that, the hotel was clean, food was great and staff were friendly! Beautiful views from the room we stayed in.

Very disappointed with our recent visit at the Hilton Double tree downtown Chicago. We live in the city, have a 3 year old, and wanted to treat ourselves to a staycation for my birthday and enjoy our beautiful city by a pool! We left within 2 hours of checking in. when we were leaving, the front desk was not helpful, didn’t ask any questions about why we were leaving and were rude and unaccommodating. Both my husband and I have years of experience in customer service and this felt extremely unprofessional for what we were paying for. The pool was not well kept, empty beer cans were found in the hall and elevator. For $600 a night we were expecting a little more. Especially being a Hilton. We’ve had wonderful experiences at Hiltons in other cities and States and this was one of the most disappointing hotels we’ve ever been to. Both The customer service and the cleanliness were an absolute let down and not worth $600. We’re both bummed that this experience was not what we were looking forward to. We’re unclear where the false advertising is coming from.
