Property was in a great location, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Bed was really low and pillows were hard. Male working the front desk seemed like we were a bother and didn’t provide helpful info when asked about dining options. The view from our room was of an ally with trash containers. But it was a great location at a lower price than other properties in the area.

I brought my grand daughter for her 15th bday experience! It was the perfect spot to be for walking to everything she wanted to do/see. The accommodations and staff were excellent! Will definitely stay again.

I first found this hotel last summer as I was walking around the Mag Mile area of Chicago. It’s style and location caught my eye. I checked it out and made a reservation for this summer several months ago. Things I liked about this hotel: the location and the decor. I also liked that there was a safe in the room. Things I didn’t like: the staff was hot and cold. Some staff were very friendly, but some were what I would describe as neutral or just not seeming happy to be there to help customers, like the gentleman at check in. I think the front desk needs more than one person regularly at check-in times, as there was often a long line waiting to check in each time I was in the lobby during my five day stay. Finally, I was in room 903. Not only did I hear a whole lot of noise from the elevator right across from my room, but the reason for that noise is that there is a 2-inch gap underneath the door to the room. Not only do I think that is a security issue – someone could easily stick a mirror or camera or anything under there - but the biggest problem was that you heard every little voice and sound in the hallway. It was very, very noisy. I think I’ll come back, but I will request a room away from the elevator.

The All-Stars of the Ivy boutique is the staff. Friendly, affable, and five star service!

The main problem was that the hotel was hosting a party and I could hear noises from my room. The worst started at 3:30 am, when my neighbors started to throw a party beside my room. I needed to call twice guest services, at 3:40 am and 4:00 am. Still, they reduced the noise but I could hear them talking. I could barely sleep two or three hours in the whole night. At checkout, it was like nothing had happened. No partial refund, no apologies.

Hotel location was perfect! In the middle of everything. Room was huge. Clean although we don’t think our linens were changed since the stain from the cheetos we ate was still there:( And we stayed for 3 nights.

I did not see bath mat rolled up inconspicuously under the sink and was not prepared for how slippery the marble floor was, so when I went into the shower I slipped and was barely able to avoid falling. That's dangerous! I STRONGLY suggest you have some signage warning people of the situation and directing them to where they can find the floor mat. I was lucky; the next person might not be!

No Ice machines on any of the floors. Along with no microwaves in the rooms. But an overall great experience.

    It’s a bit underwhelming.

Pleasantly surprised, I have nothing negative to say. Everything was flawless from check in to checkout. Will definitely return again

    Convenient and clean.

The king suite was great. Very spacious, really comfy couch and great room darkening curtains. Huge soaker tub was really nice and the shower had good water pressure. The bed was too soft for my liking but linens were nice. Check in at the bar is a bit weird and given that they have no room service, the concession was very limited. Starbucks on the corner and plenty of places open to eat nearby. Location was very convenient.

    Everything was perfect

Excellent room and location for the price. Nothing else. Not even a reasonable breakfast.
