Best Western River North Hotel

We booked the hotel with free breakfast and internet but we only got the internet. We went to the resto to have breakfast but was advised that we book to expedia that’s why there is no free breakfast.

Wallace was amazing and a life saver. He helped us a lot. Wally, Paco and Christian in the restaurant were also amazing.

I have stayed at Best Western River North many times. It’s a great location and always clean. The staff is very helpful especially Wallace. You won’t find a better person to assist you. Easy check in and check out. Nice bar and breakfast available.

Separate commode and sink not good. Parking situation not good--poor access and signage.

First time staying at this hotel. Location was great, rooms are very small but seemed to be clean. There is no refrigerator in the room so if your need something cold i would recommend bringing a cooler. The bathroom is super tiny that you have to maneuver your way to open the door cause the toilet would be in the way. We stayed on the 4th floor, could definitely hear traffic and people outside so i wouldn't say it was quiet. Underground parking garage is super tiny not many spaces but they do have ample parking in their lot above ground. Probably wont be staying again.

It was clean, air conditioner, great pool! Good for a short stay. In and out privileges for parking without extra fees is a bonus in this area!

We stayed here for the room rate and attached parking since we drove to Chicago. This is also a great location. Our beds were comfortable. I wish they would remove the carpeting. It’s old and has a little smell. The deodorizers they use don’t help! Overall, the room was clean but don’t like that carpet in the room and hallway.

We got in very early on our check in day and Jordan gave us a room right away and didn’t charge us extra. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good and pool area was nice. The rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great location. We come to Chicago often and this is a first for this location but it will be our go to from now on.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel needs to have some renovations. The hotel itself was dated. The elevators were old and slow. The hallway carpets were worn and the paint on the walls were chipped and scuffed. Our room was clean, but the ac unit seemed to be struggling to keep the room cool and sounded like a jet engine when cycling on and off. The bathroom was small but clean. The shampoo, bodywash and conditioner were offered in the shower/ tub combo. The king bed and linens were comfortable. There was a single cup coffee maker with individual coffee packets (not K-cup) with sugar and creamer provided in the room, but the coffee offered in the lobby tasted much better. There were a full-size ironing board, iron and safe but no mini fridge in the room. Free breakfast was not offered but for fee restaurant was attached to the lobby. The Navy pier, river walk, bean, magnificent mile and fountain were all walkable to and from this hotel. Ubers, Taxis and rentable Lyft bikes and/ or scooters were available at various locations around the city to get around if you have mobility issues. My favorite place to sit and relax was the rooftop terrace on the 7th floor in the main building. The gym was small and the pool looked inviting but was not used during this visit.

It’s in a great location they could use ice machine in each floor vs 3rs floor only otherwise beds were comfy and hotel rooms very clean
