Clean, Clean, Clean Room= small, small, small

We had booked three nights at the hotel. However, they neglected to clean the room daily or provide us with fresh towels. When we requested a change of clean towels, they promised to bring them but never did.

Overall was a good stay!! Wish the place next door wasn’t as loud at night.

This is a lovely hotel, clean, helpful staff and great location. Rooms are small but we really just sleep there when we're in Chicago.

My room was by the elevators which was a noisy location, not recommended if you want deep sleep. Air conditioning would transition to auto set which was different from my preference, would have liked it more if it would stay at my set temperature. A good view from the window would have enhanced the experience but that’s fine since i was outdoors most of the time. Overall, neat and clean. Downtown location was the biggest perk!

Location was great for the price. We were a short walk from the river, shopping, public transport, and there were bars and restaurants right next door. We drove, and were able to park our car very close to the hotel and pay for the whole weekend at once. Very convenient bed set up for me and my sister as we wanted the separate bunk beds, so that was a big draw for us to pick this place. The rooms were beat up, and very small. Our heat/AC stopped working at one point and we had to change rooms. The duvets did not have covers on them and werent new.

Location was close to transit and many very good food and drink options. Rooms were very clean. There was no mention of the hotel being under construction and the property was largely disheveled and filled with contractors making a lot of noise. There wasn’t a phone in the room so you couldn’t call down to the front desk. Asked for an iron and waited for over a half hour before leaving without getting one sent to our room.

Let’s start from the basics. The property advertises free WiFi and a communal kitchen. I discovered upon arrival that the kitchen is being used as staff storage so it cannot be used. The WiFi was not working for 2 days straight, and I was given countless wrong information by employees. Result: instead of working from the comfort of my room I had to go out and find a coffee shop with reliable connection for 2 days. There is construction everywhere in this hotel and contractors started working at 7am on a Saturday morning. The personnel is clueless, nobody seems to know what is happening. On top of all this, there is an insanely loud bar at the ground floor, day and night. I was told I’d get a partial refund, several days in I am still waiting. Find somewhere else to book if you’re on the fence

It’s a hidden gem in downtown with a good location. A few things weren’t working. (Some lights, uneven curtains, Ac/heater couldn’t be adjusted)

Location and staff Price
-
The location of the hotel was great. Walking distance to the train and restaurants. The room is quite small but had all the essentials.
-
Also, It was underwent some kind of renovation so my check-in process was not smooth.. but the staff was really helpful.
-
Was close to things The room was so tiny
-
Parking option is nearby and allows multiple entry/exit. Full size/refillable toiletries + hair drier. Trendy decor (where complete). Windows did not block much outdoor noise. Windows had roller shades but no curtains. Unfortunately, renovations were occurring while we were there and we were placed in a room that did not appear to be complete. We asked to have some of the items addressed (missing light bulbs, empty conditioner, construction dust, etc.) but they were not and this impacted my overall experience.
-
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location. It was under construction so rooms were very plain.
-
Great location for getting around. There were multiple bus stops close and the L was nearby. There a Target and a McDonald’s within the block. Some evenings there was loud music from the attached restaurant/lounge.
-
The building and location are excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean.

Write a short sentence to sum up your stay. “Overall, the stay was okay, but the unresolved air conditioning issue was disappointing.
-
Excellent location. Nice and clean, simple. Automatic texts sent at 7 am, also text offering coffee but there was none.
